So you haven't missed it, it is just listed and showing out of stock because they are getting ready for Collector Con tomorrow.

And can I also say how happy I am to see the window packaging back?  I liked the art of the plastic free packaging (not as much as the original art from earlier but hey), but I much prefer seeing the product in the box so I can tell if there are any issues rather than hoping nothing is wrong when opening them.

Well the Night Force Shockwave with RAM is up (preview) on Walmart.ca for their Collector Con.

So that means we should get a shot at it come Thursday (March 14th).  The only "ouch" is the price.  It is $75 which is up from previous releases of the RAM with a figure.  Not great but I'll have to bite the bullet to get one because it probably won't last.

Hate to say I am loving that Night Force Shockwave and RAM.  I am a bit surprised they are trying to get us to bite on another RAM, but it is what it is so I guess I will be biting.  Shockwave looks good and I like the change up of the accessories.  Here's hoping they continue to make these readily available to us through Walmart.ca.

Yeah I don't think we'll see another Airborne figure that is this close to the original look.

Maybe there will be another release where he is part of a sub-team (Sky Patrol), but not likely a Retro version since this first version will be close enough.  However you never know, but you are the first person I have seen post that the colours aren't close enough for you.   I have seen a few people mention his weapons but not his uniform.  I mean they are basically re-releasing the same EEL on a Retro card, so you never know, but I wouldn't expect it for Airborne.

Yeah people were expecting Metalhead through Amazon.ca but it looks like they had the date wrong.  Everywhere else had him releasing in April.

I agree about the 60th figures, but I am a sucker and will pick them up anyway.

I also preordered the HMS from Pulse, but I'll wait on the rest.

I figured I would start this thread to discuss this line instead of just going on about it in the Classified thread.

Anyway, we have three releases so far with Kup/Triple-T coming next (not yet revealed, but all but confirmed).  Then the rumour is Prime/Mobat as the one after Kup.  So that is five releases and hopefully more to come.

Anyway what got me going on this thread is that I just opened up Soundwave/Thunder Machine.  MAN-O-MAN is he a thing of beauty.  I have a Thunder Machine so I was able to compare the two and they absolutely nailed the size/scale and dimensions in vehicle.  And the updated paint apps really improve the vehicle's look, and don't get me started on the new from grill.  What an improvement over the fragile original. And getting two figures now (Zarana and Zartan) along with a Ravage cassette bot (it is the Masterpiece version in blue) really added to the value.   Price is a bit steep, but I don't regret getting this set.

Overall this is the best release so far in the line, but I am hopeful they can do even better with future releases.

As for Megatron and Bumblebee.  Megatron looks good in vehicle mode, but there are some issues in robot mode.  Same with Bumblebee but to a lesser degree.

Both love, and hate, the new leaks of Mad Marauders Sgt. Slaughter and the two pack of Low-Light and Spirit.

Hate the Mad Marauders colour scheme.

Love that they didn't just do straight repacks/repaints, but actually changed up the accessories quite a bit to make the packs a bit more unique from their original releases.  Also another pet!!!  I am pretty surprised they gave Spirit a different bird, even though it is most likely a reuse of Freedom with different paint apps.

Well hot damn!!

Talk about a bunch of great reveals.

Every single reveal was a banger in my opinion.  I love the update to Doc and Jinx.  Night Creeper looks great and I love that they included the V2 head.  GNAWGAHYDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I mean what is there to say about his reveal?  I love absolutely everything about it.  From the Pets (a highly articulate Boar with a nose ring and one broken tusk?  YES PLEASE!!) to the sniper rifle kit, to the bow and arrow, to Gnawgahyde himself!!!  This is a fantastic reveal and I can't wait for him to get a release.

I also loved the TF two pack of Roadblock and Tripwire.  Roadblock gets his Ma'Deuce and I am surprised that they gave Tripwire almost all of his kit from the first release as well.  I would have expected them to leave out M.A.C.L.E.O.D. and just give us the detector and backpack.  Also I love the TF print on M.A.C.L.E.O.D. that they give to the vehicles, a nice little detail.  I will say I can't unsee the "tiger stripe speedo" on Tripwire after someone mentioned that is what it looked like to them.

Another great set of reveals.

What really set ARAH from everything else was the vehicles and playsets.  The size constraints in this scale is going to be the limiting factor, but I am in for anything they produce.

Don't be surprised if we see maybe 20 vehicles by the end of this year.  Granted there are a lot of small, single person vehicles right now.  However those, combined with mid-sized vehicles like the VAMP, will add up quickly.

Here is what we have so far at the beginning of 2024:

COIL
RAM
TF RAM
Flight Pod
PP Flight Pod
Serpentor's Air Chariot
HISS Tank
Draonfly (already sold, just waiting)
Maybe the Drone from Scrap Iron due to it's size??

Then we have coming:

SMS w/Techno Viper
Ferret w/Scout
VAMP w/Clutch

So that is 12 vehicles already confirmed/out.  We know there will be another Haslab vehicle, and at least two more vehicles in those leaked lists.  That gets us to 15 (counting Scrap Iron's Drone).   It isn't a big stretch to get 5 more this year through repaints and exclusives.  I won't be surprised to see the MMS repaint from the SMS and a VAMP repaint into whichever version.  Plus another couple small vehicles we have no inkling of yet. 

So yeah, 20 vehicles by the end of 2024 is doable in my books.

Personally I am hoping/excited for any possibility of the Devil Fish and Firebat.  Those two are great single person vehicles I am dying to get in Classified.
