In other words, WOW! That is cool and since it's BEFORE the G.I.Joe collectors club, is there any chance we might get to see something new before the MC convention this summer? Now that would be very cool.
I expect attendence is now going to go thru the roof. I've never been so proud to be a member of Joe Canuck as I am right now.

Hasbro CANADA representatives will be at the meet, so it is unlikely they'll have anything that the USA doesn't already know about - but hey, who knows at this point?

This is very exciting. I'm thrilled that Canuck's are getting that sort of respect!
I don't know if it was possible for me to get more enthused about the meet since the Hama announcement came out, but this is great!
Again, thanks for the effort; for the past months and for everything that will doubtless be busy in the upcoming months!
I can't wait to see the Hasbro display in person, rather than on some message board! ;D

I'm still in shock from reading that email 14 hours ago. No question about it now, we?re headed up on Friday [the 18th] this time, maybe get together with people and hang out the night before; I get the feeling that attendance is gonna skyrocket this time around! And like Raptor said, it's 100% affordable too, which the MC cons are everything but with airfare and hotel and bullshitting in town around Con and if you buy the exclusives you tack another $500 onto that. OUCH. But this is still $5 admission, still only and hour + drive-time and one a tank of gas (and maybe a hotel room bill split a few ways).
I can't imagine after the not-so-little-anymore Canuck Meet next year that I'll ever feel the need to try for an official Joe Convention again, this is gonna feel like one methinks. Near the end of last year?s show, Pete the Greek said he nearly pissed himself when he saw how many people were there, he was surprised that it had gotten so big. ?Big? isn?t going to be an adequate description after ?08. I?m glad I was at ?07 to experience it when it was more buzzworthy than ever and yet still personal.
Who?d a thunk (besides Mike the diabolical busybody) that so much would change in just a year. HOW did you pull this one off, man?
P.S. with all this fanfare, will the 2008 Meet still hold the speed painting and such? :wink:

Keep in mind, with Hasbro having a booth, and Larry Hama having a section (which needs room for line-ups), room might be tight this time around. We do have a MUCH bigger hall (officially), and two other "rooms" to use if I need them. They'll cost more money, but I am considering it.

In my Fantasy world (where everybody has free time and where toys are free? ;D), Snow Bank would have a part of every vintage artic characters like:
1. Frostbite's head
2. Snow Job's arms
3. Snow Serpent's torso and waist
4. Iceberg's legs
With an harmonised white for all parts and light grey (or silver) highlights. Also with Marauder?s special cool white (or silver) rifles? (he has some white rifles on eBay, but not on his personal website?).
But, since I have zero customizing talent (I messed up painting red a 1983 S.N.A.K.E. armor...) and about no spare time, I can't complaint... :-X

Now to only decide what to bring to get signed. I have two questions one in regards to the exclusive figure or figures is there a price set for these yet. My second question is will there be free parking at the location or will we need to park elsewhere. Just curious thanks.

Parking is 100% free. If the parking lot fills up (could happen), there is many other options to park around the location. You should be fine.
The figure cost is generally $25.00 and includes your admission price.
So far, it is STILL going to be $25.00. I need to get ahold of 30 sets of Maverick arms - and if I have to start paying for an entire figure - instead of $1.00 per set of arms, then the price could go up. BUT.... It's my hope that people won't attempt to rip me off just for a figures arms that no one really cares about. ;-) (Much like Countdown last year). ;-)
