Reason it got overlooked, is because I had a store AND the Meet to run at roughly the same time.
Thanks to Pete, I didn't have to worry about getting the Meet up and running since he took care of opening it for me.

That's why this year I'm pushing for a Sunday Meet.
An all day meet from somewhere around 11am to 6 or 7pm. (or earlier).

I know Ed said he can't attend on a Sunday, which would suck since I'd really like to have Ed there...... Ed?.... Not even later in the day???

Stealthy has GOT to be there Mike...can't it be scheduled from Saturday evening or something? I really don't know if it's possible to have it Saturday night, it's just an idea I'm throwing out.

That would be a good idea. For the people that came last year that can't find anything to represent themselves, they can use their Arctic Trooper figure.

OK found this tread....finally.

OK Someone needs to set a date and time to meet. how about the end of august. in or around hamilton area, I will drive there and if anyone needs a ride let me know. I can drive one extra person. or cram a couple of people in the back of my pick up under the toneau cover :wink:

Two get togethers in one year? I don't know. If this becomes a semi-annual event, it might loose the whole impact of the get together.

Personally I would like it to be a bit warmer when we do it but lets try to keep it near the annual year time, so more like March is what I was hoping for.

I'm fine with Sundays, but I'm kinda Joed out right now this summer from the con and seeing new stuff turn up. I haven't posted as much on any of the boards I go to lately. Sort of just paying off my credit card after Florida and all. Another reason I like the Spring time frame, far away from the Christmas bills, and not hurting from Summer conventions either.

October, November more holidays start showing up and they cost money, plus saving up for Christmas, so again, back to the spring where expenses are a little less.

fair enough, I just would like to meet the fine people at this site face to face. maby swap a couple of joes....who knows. Guess I will have to wait for March of next year. very well. :(

I am not a fan of Sunday's either.  It's my down time to relax, especially when I travel around.  Plus if any out of towners arrive, they might to take Sunday off as well.

I've 'finally' decided on March of 2005.
I see no real problem in having it on a Saturday again.
I would of preferred Sunday since I 'do' have a store to run that day. :-)

Everyone ok with having it across the street again?
Some folks haven't bothered to come back to this site since that last meet..... so we may have less people this time. Who knows!?

Now my next question.
Anyone have a preference of a day?
