JOECANUCK NEWSLETTER : ISSUE 21 is now online!
« on: September 22, 2009, 07:32:12 PM »

Issue 21 of our monthly FREE newsletter is now posted online!

Warning, it's a big one at a whopping 27+MB! WOW!

It's a little different this month, and we hope you like it.
It was actually harder to do this one than any other past newsletter we've done.
Why? Because it's our Silent Issue!

It can be found at  : http://www.joecanuck.com/NL/SEPT09.pdf

Later, it will be available at : http://www.kraftwerkdigital.com/JoeCanuck/SEPT09.pdf
(See why here)

As always, we'd love to hear your comments!

I am thinking this is the best issue to date!!
My first thought was silent issue - new letter - not possible.
But after reading the reviews I couldn't agree with them more - in fact the review of the Cobra SUV has convinced me that it is now at the top of my must buy list!

I am looking forward to sharing this with the guys at work tomorrow!

a great take on the newsletter!  andrew should do one of those reviews every issue...priceless!  loved dave's review of the battle game, and even understood raptor's customizing instructions without all those confusing words getting in the way!  kewl idea, nicely executed!  THIS is why Joe Canuck Rules!!!

Glad you guys like it. We were joking about doing this last year but we didn't mention it until a few weeks ago. I gotta say, it's hard trying to figure out how to do a news letter without words.

I remember suggesting a silent 21st issue, but you guys actually managed to pull one off?  JoeCanuck OWNS, plain and simple!
Still, if I had known you guys were doing this, I'd have contributed for sure.  You could have used my silent 21st comic!

Great Job Guys! I found the Silent Issue to full of information even without a word. And I had a few many laughs ;D. I hope we'll see more original material like this in the future newsletters.

That was fantastic. It was most amazing issue ever written..or should I say not written  :shifty:

I love the fixing the vipers bit. I never even noticed that they were looking down.

I had to take a second look on the steel crusher review. I like that you put comparison shots of the vintage figs along the 25th line.

EE was  good. Who/what toys were used in that?

That was the intention. The RoC large vehicle boxes give no indication of what the vehicle is like inside. I know a lot of people swore off the RoC vehicles after getting the underscaled jet that is nowhere near as cool a toy as it was in the movie. So I thought the Steel Crusher deserved to shine.

Just to add something that didn't make it into the issue (call it a web enhancement). The side missiles can aim backwards like they did in the movie, but then the door doesn't close.

You could just open up the truck and swap the door panels to fix that if you really must have your little CLAW missiles aim backwards.  Now you know--
