"when I find a complete loose figure, will I be able to tell if the accessories are authentic?" The answer, likely not.

If you can't tell the difference then why does it matter at all?

It matters most when I'm about to drop a serious amount of money for something that is supposed to be 100% authentic. Only then. Other than that, I have nothing against repros. I even own a few in my own collection.

I can't see dropping a "serious" amount of money on anything I've seen reproed for that very reason. Either buy from someone you and reasonably assume is honest or buy stuff in person. Or, of course, search out a definite repro and pay way less.

Oddly enough I just bought what turned out to be a KO Masterpiece Red Alert and I can't believe how nice it is comparing it to my genuine MP Sideswipe. Sometimes repo stuff can be a great thing. :D

Agreed, that is exactly where I stand when it comes to buying.
