Title: sneaking into Canada
Post by: bucky on August 22, 2007, 06:52:59 PM
I have a similar post up at Joecustoms, but thought I might ask around here, since all you fine people live in the country.

I am looking to go to Niagara Falls this fall.  It look sas though I will be staying at the really big Sheraton.  According to Expeida and Priceline, my plane lands in Buffalo.
I have heard I don't need a passport to drive acroos the border, just plenty of ID.

So, my questions are:

1.-How far is the BUffalo Airport from Niagara Falls?

2.- can you actually hitch a cab ride that will cross the border?

If anyone could help answer these, it would be mucho appreciated.  I want to get my ticket before the weekend.

thanks!!

All the info you need is here:

http://www.niagarafallslive.com/Airport ... _Falls.htm (http://www.niagarafallslive.com/Airport_Shuttle_Services_Buffalo_Airport_Niagara_Falls.htm)

1) Buffalo Airport to Niagara Falls trip averages 40 minutes.

2) You can take a taxi or shuttle from the Buffalo airport to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.  40 bucks (one way) for shuttle.
