« on: December 14, 2004, 09:04:13 PM »

Joe Customs is down, and I hear that another Joe site got hacked. Anyone have any information on this?

When was the last backup you ran mike?

I think Beav might be taking a precaution after the GI Joe HQ hack. I don't think he's been hacked.

But Mike, it might be a good idea to set up better a defense against this kind of attack.

I don't get it...what would the hacker be getting out of hacking Joe forums like GIJoe HQ? Besides putting it in his "hack" portfolio...

Honestly, I think Kurt may of pissed someone off and they 'took revenge'.

Lame and stupid i know..... but that's all I can come up with.
So now Beav is backing up the JoeCustoms site - just in case.

There was some problem with it last night, so he left it offline all night.
Nothing too much to worry about I'm sure.

As for this site..... I'm not worried. Who the hell has Canada ever pissed off!

The "SARS outbreak" was a result of Canada pissing off the U.S. by not invading Iraq. (I still refuse to call it a war) LA actually had it worse than Toronto, but CNN twisted it.

Or that one time we had ONE Mad Cow...

Gay marriage, legalized marijuana, cigarette bans (coming May 2006) etc. We're pissing off a lot of people.

Aw shucks... didn't mean to get so political.

Hmm. In this thread alone we've attacked Newfies, Quebecois, Americans...

And don't get me started on those Torontonians! Canada's answer to Obnoxious Americans.

We all know this is in 'fun-humor'....... but could this be on the way to a locking?

I don't mind Americans...... except those Texas-folks. They don't impress me much..... I've had nothing but problems with them. :shifty:

My entire family is American (including both parents, so that makes me part-American too) so most of what I say about them is in jest.

But to be honest, I have met some folks down there who are truly clueless when it comes to matters of the world. It's a little disappointing.
