Transformers Animated Fans?
« on: September 14, 2008, 10:32:11 AM »

Hey guys, anyone into transformers animated?  I recently got hooked after watching season 1 & 2 and seeing the over abundance of TA stock in all the big box stores around here I took a plundge and bought some figures - they're completely badass and highly recommended.

Anyways, does anyone know when Canada will be getting wave 2 of the Leader class?  It only has Ultra Magnus but OMG what an awesome looking toy!  TRU Canada online has it out of stock atm.

I don't know when that wave will get here.

I do agree the figs are good (with a few tooling issues here and there) and I look forward to seeing season 3.  Apparently DiTillo and Forward wrote an episode that will pay homage to Beast Wars (or Beasties here).

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

I saw Ultra Magnus at Walmart in Brantford like a week ago maybe? I only saw one and he was way up on the above shelf.

I love the Animated stuff. The show is great fun. The toys seem to sport great sculpts with mediocre paint jobs. I'm often going back and doing touch ups.

They are releasing a 25th ann. set with original G1 Optimus Prime that includes the very first mini-series and a original run comic.  Much like the GI Joe dvd packs

That makes sense and is a good idea. Also sounds like it won't be a TRU exclussive, so the price should be decent.

I love the show. Have the DVD's. Abstaining from the toys (don't have the shelf space)

I think it is all absolutely fantastic and by far the best thing since G1.

I'm doing my best to just get favorite characters. Also because I have no room.
