Hey all, just got back from the hospital where my wife and I welcomed our newest daughter Deanna. Born 11:40pm on Sept 29. ;D  I have to be back in about 5 hours and I'm taking my other daughter Julie to see her new sister. Now I'm heading off for sleep.

Was in Wal-Mart on Regent and saw the new wave with Helix, Flash,  Pit Commando etc. Looked to have only one case. I'm not collecting the movie line but thought I'd pass on the info to others in the Manitoba area that they are here.

Saw an Ice Dagger over the weekend at zellers in Kildonan Place on Regent in Winnipeg (and only one of them) no other vehicles. Passed on it. If someone really wants it I can see if its still there.

Was in Superstore on Regent today and saw a display stand in the middle of the aisle with some figs etc.  Sale $7.49 per figure  Limit:2 (sorry the price might be a little out, I'm not sure if I recall it correctly) otherwise regular $9.99.

Not sure on the vehicles prices as my little girl was running away from me at the time.

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this before but looking through my flyer today and I noticed that the Gi Joe Classic Large Vehicles (python conquest and tiger rat) and maybe others are $10 off. Price $29.99  Other figures etc are 25% off.

edit: oops, yes I forgot to mention it starts Friday, Aug 7.

As usual, just a week or two behind Ontario, but I  just checked out my local Zellers (KP mall) and they had them. Same price as everywhere else ($39.99) On the top shelves right above the star wars figures.  I'm assuming this means they'll be in all the Zellers.

For those interested. Both Tru and Wal-Mart on Regent have stocked up on the movie figures and vehicles.
 Wal-mart had a couple of steel crushers, nights ravens, while Tru had those, plus the smaller vehicles (i.e Snake Trax with Scarp Iron etc.).
Prices are same as would find anywhere else in Canada.
 
 Interesting to see the Ice Viper with one of the torpedoes from the Cobra Wolf. Is it now some sort of motorized ski?

 I left everything as I'm not collecting the movie stuff, though I was tempted bu Storm Shadow who just looks excellent. I'll leave my joes set in the 80's.
(I just know if I buy just one thing I'll buy more and my wife would not be happy :( )

After mentioning so under the post from Claw about finding some of the wave at Regent Wal-mart, I stopped by St. Vital Wal-mart and they had the 2 latest waves, about 7 pegs full. I counted at least 6 eels, 4 bats, 7  Bazooka Troopers, 5 para-vipers. Everything except Zartan who continues to elude me. (Curse you master of disguise!)

TRU on Regent has the next group of comic packs, picked up Beachhead and Dataframe (mainframe) Hard Master & Snake Eyes, Scrap Iron & Wild Bill.

They also had some previous comic repacks, a whole slew of the 2 five packs figs, a lot of the 3 command packs, (which included at least 3 iron grenadiers sets) as well as a good supply of figures including some bats. (I wonder if all the collectors in winnipeg have enough because I've passed on at least 6 bats by now)
