My Gi Joe Collection
« on: February 09, 2011, 04:45:36 PM »

               Hi All,

Sadly, I only have 1 picture to display, because I only started
collecting last month.
Due to my severe back injury, I can no longer work, and my
doctors have all suggested that I need something to focus on
that will help take my mind off of the constant pain.
I have always loved Gi Joe since I first played with the AT Joes
back in 1973, which are all gone sadly, so I thought what better
thing to do than start collecting Gi Joe action figures and toys.
So far I only have the 2010 POC Steel Marauder Mech Suit.
I can't figure out how to upload pics from this forum page.
Can someone please explain how to do that.

Thank you
Dale

Create an account on http://photobucket.com/

it is free and all you need to do is upload the pics there.  Then it will give you the URL to the pic so you can post it here using the Insert image button.

What lines do you collect? I might have some things you could have for free to get your collection off the ground. Depends if you are a perfectionist on completeness/condition!  ;D
We're not too far away.

:) OMG Grunt 4 MVP.
I don't know what to say. I'm not used to this type of kindness.
It absolutely doesn't matter to me what line/condition at all.
I would be extremely grateful to you for anything you could
pass along. What a boost it would be.

Thank you so very much
Dale

No worries. I mostly have "A Real American Hero" stuff. A couple newer things maybe. Shoot me a pm, to lmk if you're able to drive and we could meet somewhere, or else we'll find a time I'm passing through. (I don't want to get your hopes up too much with visions of 'treasures' - just some stuff to set up or play around with! One piece sounds so sad and lonely!!!)

Something else to consider Bulman is the FREEBIE TABLES at the Canadian Joe Con. They're always a huge hit and I've seen some complete items come out of it as well.

General Hawk: Technically, G.I. Joe does not exist, but if it did, it\'d be comprised of the top men and women from the top military units in the world, the alpha dog\'s. When all else fails, we don\'t.

I clean out all my unwanted figs and vehicles on the freebie table!  I think there is only one rule with the freebie table though... Only kids are allowed to pick items off the table for the first hour or so, then we adults have full access to it.  I remeber there was a bin of figures there as well!  Good times to be had at the CJC!
