With unique DIE CUT sticker sheets and fully working treads/wheels. (They still move!)
The double blaster moves 100% as well.
Much like the HATE had 905 numbers for that years convention city (Hamilton).
The HATE Scout will have 416 as it's numbers.
Still to be shown, two more figures and one more vehicle! (Date to be announced)
Let the guessing begin!

You can never go wrong with Chrome, love it!
2 vehicles + 5 figures for $180 is a bargain compared to some other exclusives!
-
Nice! SO you guys found another place to get them Chromed?
-
shiny!

True that! Filecards too? :)
-
Very cool. Love the robot and the vehicle and I have the sneaking suspicion that the best is yet to come!
-
Let the guessing begin!
I'm kinda expecting the Ashiko Cycle to be used somewhere.
No wonder these vehicles are so hard to come by state-side... all of the Canadian supply was picked up for these sets.
Edit; just caught the name.. I love it...HATE Scout.
-
holy sh.. Guys, you're crazy.
I don't know what to say.... I cannot expect better idea.
Yes, this set worth 180$
-
I wasn't a huge fan of the HATE but the fact you guys got this and made it into something cool that touches on your history without being a "25th version" of something you've already done is just awesome. Whoever came up with this idea deserves a pat on the back.
-

That would be Pete The Greek, actually.
-
Well it's chrome, and I'm a fan of chrome. I like shiny. I'll be honest, when I was chroming everything in site before I picked up the Hiss scout and thought about doing that one as well. It looks neat.
The stickers look nice, but they always do.
Safe money is on an the armour cycle is coming. Maybe Roshan will get his chrome transformer after all. ;)
If that's the case then the head is indeed Ashiko's on the first figure shown. Ashiko would be hard to work with. I'm interested in seeing if it is indeed him and what parts were changed up. Obviously he needs a new head and the lower legs are gone. In order for the figure to work the rest of the parts need to be original parts, as far as I can see. Then again, I've been wrong before.
I guess G.I. Joe is like wrestling. Never say never.
-
I agree Morgardee, I bet the Ashiko cycle is coming also.
Would be cool if it was chromed, but I'm guessing it might be red....white would be hard to pull off given the base color (navy blue).
I think Mike said the new head sculpts were very expensive, so expect those for the final 2 figs.
-
So what's left now...
Vehicle: Cycle Armor, most likely.
Figure parts: Rampage's lower legs, Ashiko's torso, arms and upper legs, HISS Scout's head and the entirety of whoever provided the vest for Traction.
I am genuinely curious what the crew's going to come up with using that.
-
A chrome HATE Scout... you really know how to put a smile on a Joe fan's face!
I can't believe there's still more to come. You guys are fantastic!

Nice job! HATE Scout was my second guess. Now we know what xxxx xxxxx stands for. I like how the driver's name complements his vehicle.
Using the local convention area codes to number the vehicles is really clever. I was always wondering about the origin of 905.
I'll assume as well that the Armour Cycle will be used to balance out the HATE Scout, with the RHINO being used next year as the focal point of the 2013 con set.
As much as Cobra North kicks a whole bunch of tail, I am typically a fan of the good guys, so I'm hoping the remaining figures and vehicle add some headcount and firepower to the JoeCanuck roster.
Only about a month away!

The HATE scout looks amazing! Can't wait to get this set. Kudos all around!

what if it's reversed???!!!!...everyone can dream haha.
Neat idea. Like everyone else said, you can't go wrong with chrome.
This is shaping up to be the best set yet imho.
-
If we are getting the Armour Cycle as the second vehicle, I am wondering if it will be powder blue/turquoise as an homage to those transforming cycles in Robotech. We got a powder blue S.N.A.K.E., so anything's possible. ;-)

Jay, you've overlooked something. ;)
Your good at this game so I'll let you think about it.

Well you're either referring to the ROC Rhino, or the Neo-Viper who donated his vest to H.A.G.A.R.
-
Mmmmmm....
Will we see something (vehicle, accessory, fig) chromed this year? ;)
WEDNESDAY ANSWER
Actually, that was something the CJC team discussed for this year.
Sadly, the place we used for the HATE has closed up shop. Which sucks, obviously.
But, re-reading your answer, you never said no.... :P
-
i like this as much as i like the H.A.T.E tank, they will look good side by side
-
Great job all around!

Simply incredible!

You coming turner?
-
I love everything about the H.A.T.E. scout. I completely ignored the regular H.I.S.S. scout because It just didn't do for me. Now i know what it was missing. A fantastic paintjob and design that makes it completely stand out from the original IMHO and lets you appreciate the overall details. Great job CJC team, you did it again :)
-
Ill honestly be happy if at least one thing is chromed each year for the CJC exclusive, it should be their "thing" :)
-

I agree, even if it's just a gun...a shiny Desert Eagle .50 ;)

This, I also command (pretty please please please) ;D
-
It should be pointed out this is the first time the HISS Scout matches the colour of another HISS, in this case the HATE.
-
I really like this, i guess it is b/c of the chrome!!! It looks awesome! It would look great next to my HATE tank from 2009.
-
Chrome, I'm always for chrome.
Yeah, Turner are you coming up for the Con?

TRACTION : http://www.joecanuck.com/jc/index.php?topic=6364.0 (http://www.joecanuck.com/jc/index.php?topic=6364.0)
Based on the vehicle/cost speculation that occurred in the TRACTION thread coupled with the timing of the reveal for the remaining components of the con set, not to mention that we haven't seen a single Joe element in the set yet, I am starting to wonder (or dream) whether the vehicle will actually be the RHINO and the two figures that will be revealed will be the ground vehicle driver and the helicopter pilot for it. Also, THE Mike's statement above mentions "date" to be announced rather than "dates". Assuming the singular usage of the word was intentional, it may imply that the two figures and the vehicle "go together" (RHINO + its component drivers). But then again the HATE Scout and Traction were revealed separately.
These are the types of things that I think about on my way home from work when I should be paying attention to the traffic. ;)

Blitzkrieg, so I had this long - winded response, but my cat just walked on the keyboard and deleted it. So, I'll give the short version.
1. I agree, I would love to see the RHINO....would be very cool
2. I agree, the Joes are outnumbered, in soldiers and vehicles, so the RHINO would help "level the playing field"
3. The use of Rampage's head fuels the intrigue
4. However, it is a big vehicle and would be hard / costly to paint or dye and to package along with 5 figures and the HATE Scout, so don't think it is happening
5. BHT is selling the Hiss Scout Tank and Ashiko and his Cycle, so that feels like the more obvious selection
6. I'd love to see Joe Canuck and / or Snowbank in a ME form....I feel the Joes needs a ME leader
7. I probably have too much time on my hands
8. When is the next reveal!?!?!?
-
The Rampage figure is often sold in lots of 5-10 or 20 figures on eBay from chinese sellers, so they probably bought them online.. but yes I would like to get a Canadian Rhino! 8)
-
next reveal's Monday, emags.
-
Thanks, Sundance.

next reveal's Monday, emags.
Um.... No it's not.
There is an update Monday, but it's not a reveal.
-
okay. i thought you said the reveals were going to be mondays and wednesdays, barring this week where we had 2 on monday.
-
Yep. But I also said on Facebook that guests would be announced next week.
It would be pointless for us to show anything the week after ComiC Con anyway! ;)
Plus..... I'm still waiting for something to arrive...
-
Plus..... I'm still waiting for something to arrive...
I enjoy the suspense. With the Joe Convention, SDCC and CJC, there is a lot of product out there for a change.

Me too! The wait and suspense is as fun as the news itself. ;D

I'm new to the Joe Conventions and this website, but I was wondering if these exclusives are in the slightly taller modern era scale or in the original scale.

They're definitely not 12 inch Joes ;D

Like the 25th line, so a little bit taller than the o-ring you might know.

Just too bad Mike.....but it's only toys and it's not an extreme emergency case.
I can wait a few more minutes ;D

5. BHT is selling the Hiss Scout Tank and Ashiko and his Cycle, so that feels like the more obvious selection
Plus don't forget the use of one of Ashiko's gun and lower legs on Retrofit is a good indication the Cycle armour is included.
Good list BTW and I have my cats walk across my lap top all the time. if it's not them then my son likes to "help" when I'm on the computer. ;)
-
I've been selling that Scout and Cycle since last year. Don't be so quick to assume everyone!
Your hopes of a cycle may be hyping up the other vehicle too much and may bring you crashing down in depression when you see it's NOT the cycle. This is me, have I ever been THAT obvious about something? What's next? You all want to assume the last two figures are Canucklehead characters or something? ;)

It reminds me of the time the CJC team used Serpentor and the two canons from the Air charriot to create the 2009 exclusives, but that never led to using the shell of the air charriot itself to make an exclusive vehicle.

OMG!!!! We are getting Canuckleheads!!!!! AWESOME!!!!

Understood. I can't even begin to imagine the number of plates you must have spinning right now. Just to set my own expectations, should we anticipate any more guest reveals prior to the con? If not, I'm totally cool with the guests already lined up.
