To anyone interested...I saw the Star Trek movie figures at 2 Walmart stores this past week going for 5$ each. That's the new regular price, not a sale. Keep in mind that the Canadian packages do not include the bridge pieces, so if you're only into the figures, then this is a good deal for you .

Why do they not come with the bridge pieces - wtf?
I have thought about picking these up but now that I know they don't have the bridge parts, I am not wasting my time looking for US versions!

Wtf'ing does not compute.

You might want to check first the ones that are in the Walmarts of your area...who knows, they might carry the american versions and hence the bridge parts.

I know how you feel, but then again it's better to find out about this first before spending the money on the entire wave only to realize they don't come with the pieces.

In any case, Never give up, never sur-render!

For $5 I will take a look - but if they are not the full version, I will pass.

I belong to a Star Trek mailing list. NONE of the new Trek figures made it to Canada with the bridge sets. I do seem to remember Series Two in Canada will have the parts however.

Also, we did not get Uhura or pike - in one of the two scales.

I was excited about Trek figures until I saw them. They're so blah, even at $5.

I actually had a correspondence with a rep from Playmates in the US.  She told me that we can expect to see the bridge and transporter pieces in Canada this fall in a special piece multipacks.

I also had talked to a rep at RPToys, the Canadian distributor.  She said they didn't have the time to get the pieces packed in.

Overall, I have bought a few, but between scuplt and possibility, there is no way they are worth the same price point as Joes or Star Wars.  I might have bought more if they had the packed in pieces though.

Be aware the new $5 price point is for both 4" and 6" scale.

That's some cool inside Info you got there. I stand corrected. Thanks Pdaat for clarifying that  :cobra:.

Might be old news, but both size formats are now $3.00 each.

With the bad sales even at 3$ or 5$ a figure, will Series Two even make it to Canada? I wonder if the pieces to the bridge will even help the sales of the figures go up. It would cool to have statistics of record sales of figures with the bridge parts, and without them, just to compare.

This line is about the fastest clearanced set of mainstream/popular action figures I've seen ever.
