1982-2011 = 30 years of the 3.75 GI Joes
« on: November 03, 2010, 10:24:39 PM »

Do you expect something special in 2011 (like a commemorative set)?
--> Do you expect something special released in Canada (like the black VAMP, black Mobat. Both molds were re-done for the 25th line)?

Do you think Hasbro knows it will be 30 years?

I can see many initiatives... but I don't think something is going to happen...  :'(

I think that the question was asked in the last q&a (I don't remember wich site though) I think that their answer was no.. nothing special for the 30th ann.
I hope we'll get an og. 13 set, that would be cool!

That would be a good choice.  But I think "25th" covered it. They aren't going to celebrate every five years...I wouldn't think.  They seem to already have their lines thought out for the near future.

I thought they did say they were going to do a 30th ann. special in 2012-2013.  I know I read that in one of the Q&A's asked in another board.

Did I made the maths wrong...? 1982-2011 = 30 years. Should not be 2012 or 2013...

Were they all available in individual packaging?

It is not the math that is wrong, but 2011 will be the Renegades line to go with the cartoon.

The math is wrong. It's still 2010. I don't expect to see anything along those lines for 1.5 - 2 more years. Anyone remember what month they officially came out in 1982?

2011 would be the 30th edition (if they came out with a release every year) but the 30th anniversay would be 2012 because 1983 would be year 1.  (if that makes sense)   ???
