A Dreadnok Experiment
« on: September 03, 2010, 07:54:04 AM »

First off, this is the first time I've posted a custom here at JoeCanuck. I've been customising for a while now (I guess about 4 years off and on). This is also my first Dreadnok custom.

Second, I've never been a big fan of the Dreadnoks. I don't hate them, but they aren't my favorite element of the GIJoe mythos.

Anyway, I bought a bunch of Rip Attack Tiger Snakes (for the Street Viper) when they hit clearance at Walmart. I'm going to donate most of them during the Holidays, but I kept one to see if it could make a decent Dreadnok vehicle. Here are the results of my experiment, I call it the Road Rage. I kept the red from the original vehicle and added the blue and the black. I tried to keep the color scheme similar to the Thunder Machine (The color scheme from the other Dreadnok vehicles is atrocious) The driver is called Ruckus and is made of spare parts.

So, is my experiment a success? :)

OB

Everything about it is great, even the use of Beach Heads head (that's an odd thing to type).

You get a timbit!  ;D

while a great effort ;I've always seen the noks as builders of really big and powerful vehicles. If this were a bigger vehicle with huge back tires instead of just the one I'd say you got a pretty nice custom. Not a knock on your customizing skills  just more on the scale of the vehicle, but that just my opinion.

I love the Nok and the vehicle concept.  You should be designing new Noks for the line!

OB, your custom's simply amazing. I love the fact that you gave familiar ARAH colors to the vehicle, plus the figure looks very unique for a Dreadnok. Great job on every level.
