Can't beleive I'm saying this but after seeing the TFCC 2010 figure, Joe fans get the better deal. Big Lob at least had fans, Dion is utter fail.

Unless Hot Shot is the retooled Japanese version with less back kibble and missile launchers, I whole-heartedly agree.
Although Blackface Mercer With Lipstick is still a horrible head.

Nope it sounds like it's a straight run thru of the Classics mold. So no rockets, the poorer full bumper molding and it sounds like he will have a 'Jolt' mini-con but no name for him yet.

I disagree. To me, the repainted head works very well. I think this Big Lob looks already awesome and even though I am pretty happy with my own custom Big Lob, I'm looking forward to getting this one, finally!

Well that's not what I was expecting. I think it might be OK. I guess I need one in hand to make up my mind.
The 12 inch guy on the other hand, now that is cool. That I can see in my collection. Maybe in the the new year I'll renew my membership. Maybe.

Dion's image is for Club members only. He's an orange and blue redeco of Universe Hot Shot:

His back kibble is really cumbersome because Hasbro ditched the missile launchers/exhaust pipes, so the rear of the car got widened to avoid a gap.
Takara's "Henkei!" version kept the missile launchers and has better articulation thanks to its smaller back kibble:

If you are a paid member of the Joe club for the following year (Officer level) than you get a choice of a ARAH (Big Lob) or Adventure Team (Urban Adventurer) 'free' exclusive.
If you are a paid member of the TF club for the following year (the only level available) than you get the single 'free' exclusive (Dion)
If you are a Trooper, or without membership, once they have distributed the freebies they need to send they will likely have left-overs. Those will be sold at the respected conventions or in the online stores, you won't need to be a paid member to purchase them, but the cost will be higher and likely will contain a membership (so you'll receive the next years one free when it rolls around.
Or you get someone who's a member to buy an extra once they are put up and pay them back for it.

Why do you think they will go 25th style come 2011 and does that mean 2010 will be O ring for sure? Did you read this somewhere?

Big Lob is O-ring for sure. But The club is running out of Classic moulds and shy away from producing new ones because of expense. also judging by this years 25th style convention set O-rings are going to be a thing of the past.

Well, Big Lob is the 2010 exclusve, and he is an O-Ring fig, it would be nice if they continue to offer O-Ring figs, but I can see this going away eventually :'(

I am pretty sure that the club stated at last years Joecon that Big Lob was indeed the last of the o-ring figures due to the phaseing out of the o-ring molds. also the reason that the Crimson Team and the upcoming adventure team sets use the 25th style.
