Definitly a great time!!  Seeing Shipwreck with  Polly on his shoulder taking pictures with the kids was cool in and of itself.  The movie figures looked great.   Missed out on the con set, but got an Ultimate battle pack for 75 bones, awesome!  Even the missus had a good time (I took her to Ikea afterwards.  Spent too much money there too.).
Thanks again for showing that us Canadians are as rabid for our passions as anyone else

...has quanto of comic packs.  Hard Master/Snake Eyes, Rock n Roll/Deep Six, Wild Bill/Srap Iron, Irn Grenadier/Viper, Beach Head/Dataframe.  Tey are in the same isle as the Combat heroes and 5 packs, but further down and at the very bottom (almost hidden)

Thanks, I checked it out, and it isn't exactly what I wanted, but it sure is damn close.  It's been a while since I've visited rebelscum, and they have made some definite improvements since my last visit.  I had always thought it was just a news site.

I should have been more specific.  What I'm trying to find is something set up to show what figures / vehicles were released in what year with what accessories.  Also, something with a comic book archive.

Off Topic / collector site question
« on: February 28, 2009, 10:45:02 PM »
Does anyone know if there is ANYWHeRE on the net, a site similar to YoJoe.com, but for Star wars stuff?  I am a avid collector of both GI Joe and Star Wars.  For Joe collecting, nothing beats YoJoe, but there is nothing that I can find comparable to it for Star Wars.  I know there must be other dual line collectors out there, and I hope someone can help me out on this.

Thanks,

more of the same I'm afraid.  I send them an e-mail every so ofter to ask, and to keep them aware.  This was the first time they responded by saying that they are going to be shipping up here.  usually I get the "this is something we are looking into" but never anything this direct.  Maybe we should all send them a note to show them how seriously anxious we are for them to cater to us, and soon.

Remainder of wave 9...a BBQ, Bazooka and Wild bill.

Also a fresh case of wave 8 was on the floor ready to be processed. Thats the Hiss Driver/Viper/Spirit etc wave.

There is a Hiss there as well with a headless driver. The head is in the box, you may be able to snag it at a discount.

This is as of 12am, Sept 26.

haha, I saw the headless Rip It in Brantford too, the head doesn't look like it broke off, just not ever attached

General Joe Talk / Re: New Joe Comic...thoughts?

I liked it as much as I liked Reloaded, Sigma6, and/vs. Transformers, or any other alternate/ultimate universe story.  Marvel/Image/DDP will always be the real story as far as I am concerned (except where Megatron showed up for an overhaul).

As a sidebar (slightly off topic), I showed this thread to my wife (she's an avid boards poster, but not on Joe sites), and she read about our situation on a LOTR fan site, and they weren't using HI$$ for the spelling, but rather a phrase for being drunk that rhymes with the name of the offending site.  I won't sink to writing it here.

Oops, I should have verified before i posted, the other name for HI$$ was my wife's creation
sorry for adding fuel to the fire
