SDCC Exclusive Sgt. Slaughter pics
« on: March 04, 2010, 12:19:33 AM »

The guys over at the Terrordrome have posted pics of the Sarge that they in turn got from Geekweek.

Not looking forward to this figures as much as I once was...

I'm very pumped to get a new Sarge, even if I'm gonna have to pay $25+ for him.  I dunno which one to pick though...the "USA" version looks better to me.  But I prefer the deco on the black shirt/camo pants one, but his legs look too short.  Good thing I've got a long time to decide!

Love the Triple T one the best. Hopefully I'll be able to get him for a good price.

Really love how he's based more on the real Sarge than the way he was portrayed in the original toyline and cartoon. I've been wanting a more "real-life accurate" Sgt. Slaughter for so long...

That's the first thing I thought too - more true to the actual Sarge.  I'm partial to the USA one more out of nostalgia than anything.

I wish it were a mailaway though so the options weren't to be scalped or pay a premium through HTS.

I want both of these - and that is going to be expensive!
Maybe they will show up on the Hasbro Toy Shop site after - so I don't have to go the ebay route.

I'm betting they will be at the Hasbro web site.

This should really be a JoeCon exclusive, but Hasbro doesn' t want to cut into the Collector Club's souvenir and exclusives sales.  There may be a figure to view though.  And the over the waist joint makes the figure look more true to the shape the real life Sarge is in.   I want both!

Maybe if you JoeCon organizers ask nicely, they'd be willing to let you use the tooling for a Slaughter's Marauders or Warthog Driver version?

I'd pay a premium for the Marauder version, but it's not likely to happen anytime soon.

I'm not a Sarge fan, He also needs more muscle definition. He kinda looks out of shape to me. Pass.

i think the usa one should have the weapons,as it is more true to the 86 mail in, the other figure should have the belt and mic, as it is more true to the wrestler sgt.

General Hawk: Technically, G.I. Joe does not exist, but if it did, it\'d be comprised of the top men and women from the top military units in the world, the alpha dog\'s. When all else fails, we don\'t.

Those can't be the final figures.  The black deco doesn't even have a gloss shine to it.
