Putting my entire g.i joe collection. Figures and vehicles up for sale. Only need to make a few hundred $$$, but im listing everything.
I can always replace them once i get back in the black. Prices are firm unfortunatly because they are listed @ cost already.

I dont get it..? Do you guys  find these prices are through the roof or something...? Because i did honestly price them @ my cost, And im completely loosing all the shipping i payed aswell.

You guys must be able to pick these things up for way cheaper then i can...

I am supposing that you are trying to raise funds to purchase the Flagg lot.  If so, and If I'm not mistaken, you are probably getting already a good deal just on the Flagg itself. So even if you lower your prices, you should strategically not be losing your initial costs as the money would be put towards something a million times more awesome. Think of it as an investment. The Flagg is easily Worth the weight in plastic of everything you have listed, and perhaps even more.

I'm in Montreal PQ, and for myself, yes, most of your items I can find for cheaper locally but that's because people in my area are not really into 25th generally speaking, and they're really into POC and 30th....at lower rates (10-20$ average range depending on the character).

I'll give you the benefit of doubt on the SDCC stuff. People that really want that stuff should be expecting to a pay a more serious price than for conventional retail items.

A few words of encouragement if it can help, I think you did well by putting the prices you want for your items, so don't let the silence or lack in action discourage you for now. At least you are playing by the forum rules since you started and you did mention that prices are negotiable.

Try maybe inserting photos on your post, and not just a link to a photo album, especially if the items for sale are all over the place on your shots that you can't tell anymore if the paper clip and the LED fixture actually come with the vehicle or figure you're selling LOL.  Keep also in mind that a lot of collectors still don't know what a 25th Firefly foil card figure is, unless they Google it or you litteraly show it to them. I don't put pictures often because it takes time to do them and I have already limited access to my collection, but then it does take time to gather someone's interest into my items, but I'm okay with that because I can only do what I can. So it all depends of how far or how badly you are willing to go to get the results.

I would also try posting locally like on Kijiji if you haven't. Someone that doesn't need to pay for shipping might be able to give you a bit more for your items if your concerned about reducing the losses.

PS: If there is a local convention nearby happening soon and the cost of a table/ spot is not too , that is also a good way to clear a collection you don't need anymore. Sometimes it takes money to make money so you might want to look into that possibility.

Propergrounds has informed me that the Flagg ia sold, so no im not raising money for it unfortunatly. LOL

These prices ( yes even the sdcc stuff ) is 100% accurate of what i payed ( i have no reason to lie about that because im just trying to raise a couple hundred bucks, not sell the whole lot ). Plus i payed 35$ shipping per package i ordered. ( typical package 20 non-foil figures, or 2 vehicles and 6 figures, or 8 foil figures. So you see even if i was to sell all of these figures @ what im asking for them im still loosing about 1000$ in shipping cost.

These figures where not bought to try to sell again to make money on them. NO, they are as the title of the add states MY PERSONAL COLLECTION, so there for i've strived to find mint as mint can be on card figures. ( so scuffed cards, no bent corners, no dented bubbles, no price stickers on them ) Thats why a foil Firefly is 20$, because thats what i payed and thats what its worth. I would rather pay 20$ and be sure i have a minty, mint figure for my collection then go the cheap guy root and get the 5$ torn card, half open bubble one, that wouldn't look to good displayed in a starcase on my shelf. LOL

I really dont want to part with any of it because it cost me so much shipping to get it all here, but  like i said i can always buy it again. And end up having to pay another shipping cost to get things  i already had....Thats not gonna be fun .

I guess im trying to put a feeler out there to see how much interest there is in these....? Because i am anticipating have some upcoming legal fee's.

Monday i'll know for sure what going on for sure with the legal situation.

Just thought of something. With there only being 336 guests and 26 members online today. No wonder nothing is getting sold...
If i had to guess about 1 in 100,000 people worldwide would be a 25th ann. collecter.
It's gonna be a while before i can move any of this..LOL

But i only needed to make 210$. After that they wont be for sale anymore. So if you looked and where interested in something, dont site on it for a week...

Also only needing 210$, You could put yourself together a little package and make me an offer...

Craigslist is a good place to post as well. I've bought a few things locally through CL though I find local people always overcharge, at least here on the West Coast. (At least me overpriced stuff is really nice and complete)

The problem might be that if the stuff is "newish" than collectors on this site might have already gotten it, or didn't want it to begin with.
