CanJoeCon Guests - Who do YOU want?

While we're two months away from the Canadian G.I. Joe Convention, we're working on some guests to appear. But, assuming we don't get "who" we would like to have this year - we'd like to know who, or what type of guests you would like to see.

Writers? (From any of the Comics)
Artists? (From any of the Comics, cardbacks, packaging, etc)
Voice Actors? (From the original cartoon to Resolute)
Movie People? (Actors, producer, costume designer, etc)
Hasbro People? (Designers, etc)
Specific people?

Post your suggestions in this thread. And we'll look into them. If we're unable to get them for this year, we can always try for 2010!

Rody Piper! :mrt:,Sgt. Slaughter,Larry Hama(love to have him every time),and anyone involve with the cartoon or comic book.

Not interested in the movie people especially Ray Park he's an ego maniac who charges for even a photo with or of him.

I know for a fact(saw what they payed Sgt. Slaughter to appear at the Collectors Con. not including royalties on the figures) the first two guests would be very expensive to get.  But down the road who knows how big the Canadian Con will get.

The voice actor who does Flint. Anyone who does G.I. Joe, Family Guy and Robot Chicken is OK in my books.

Anyone above will great.  Especially comic professionals.  Larry is the top, but Chcuk Dixon would be great as well.

Hasbro reps are cool too.  Unlikely we would get a "How It's Made" video though.

I'd like to meet whoever contributed to the sculpts and designs of the original 3 3/4" line of joes ( assuming that they're still walking the face of this planet  :wink: ). It would be interesting to get some real answers to  a few questions I have about the Cobra-La Royal Guard figure differences from the movie character per instance, etc, Nuff' said.

Rod Whigham or Herb Trimpe, or from the current comic how about Robert Atkins. He's easy to get a hold of since he's a regular poster on gijoereloaded.com. I had asked suggested to him before he should come up to Canada for a Canadian Joe Con, and he seemed open to the possibility some day. So he at least knows about the con. :)

But can you wait til next year for these guys, since I won't be attending this year. My wife and I will be a bit busy since we're due to have a baby that week. ;)

But yeah Rod Whigham and Herb Trimpe would be awsome as far as classic comic creators go. :)

I can confirm that we've been in touch with 3 people that you guys have listed so far. One is a no-go, while the other two we're still awaiting a 100% confirmation from. ;-)

Both guys are very talented and would make great guests.

I hate to say Seth Green is an ass----met him once and would not even let him lick the soles of my shoes.  Because that's how he treats people.  (Him and Thuman Thomas of the Buffalo Bills fame).  Sorry for ranting.
