I just finished this last night and I am just wowed. Few games can touch you so emotionally and create a bond with you and the characters, and this does such a good job with that as well as setting atmosphere. Despite a few plot holes and crappy controls in certain sections(if you played it already all I can say is tunnels...), I consider this one of the best games I have ever played. Any one else played this yet? I hope when they make the movie, they use the same actors for the 4 protagonists. I now have a Heavy Rain oragami bird on my desk at work, complete with blood splotch on one of the legs
It's definatly not a game for everyone though, its not heavy in fast pace action or anything, its mainly for people who like to immerse themselves in story.

I tried the demo - it was ok... a friend of mine bought it, played it (most of it) and has since traded it in.

I did notice something cool in the demo - in the apt with the hooker, after you save her - look at the shelf behind the guy - there's a naked Mego Batman sitting there.
