The PIT looks beautiful. It's not overly sleek or techno, it will fit in quite nicely with classic stuff. I'll have to see close ups to make a final decision, but I like what I see so far.

Not so much a "pit" as it is a "tower"...  But ok.  ::)

The PIT looks ok, but I want to see better pictures before making a decision.  I still would have preferred a stationary base.

The NIGHT RAVEN looks even better!!!  The picture with the guys hands gives a better sense of scale.  It looks like it will be on par with the Rattler/Conquest.  So not as big as the original, but not as small as others were making it out to be.

The SCARAB is now the STEEL CRUSHER A.P.V. ??

Thanks Stealth for sharing all these pics. I'm always happy to see what is coming!  ;D

Maybe I become older or because I'm stuck in the 80's, those vehicles are not coming home. So it will be more for you guys!

On the other hand :

And "tough troopers" with lights, sounds and MUSIC!

It's the 5 second repeating MIDI file on a chip that makes them TOUGH!

I wonder if the Snake Eyes one will breakdance?

I am pleasantly surprised by the pit which kind of looks like a General was mated with Rolling Thunder.

I have nowhere to put it, but when they're down to $14 on clearance at Walmart, I will end up (for some reason) buying two.

I think I will buy Snake Fries to keep Darth Tater company.

I wonder which fast food joint has the promo rights to the movie.  I'm sure snake fries will be on the value menu.

These movie toys don't do it for me, I may get the odd item but in a whole I'm happy to save money and spend it on more vintage stuff.

I stand corrected. After seeing more and closer shots the PIT looks pretty lame all opened up. I'd be down with it if it opened for play like the MCC, but this "transforms" and doesn't reflect what would actually be the interior of the vehicle. There's even some rocks coming out of the walls in some places. I hope we can get the Hawk figure in some other way, I want that Dennis Quaid head for my Flint..

As much as I WANT to like that 'Pit,' I just can't.  It really just looks uninspired.  Like they put a U-Boat on top of an APC and had it open into little corridors.

I like that it comes with stuff like crates and the ping-pong table, and I'm sure it would make a nice set for the comics I shoot with my figures, but I'd have preferred if they just gave the oldschool Headquarters playset the same treatment as the Night Raven.  Oh well.

And really.  Is a massive vehicle thing a safer headquarters than a secret incognito underground base? :shifty:

I'm sorry.. but the Pit just looks horrible... I'm actually embarrassed for this whole line...  I really don't see how any serious Joe collector could be interested at all in these toys. I'm not bashing the movie, just the toys, they are so lame, and just seem like a quick cash grab to me..
