As for the comic packs, I hope to get some more Cobra soldiers at that price.

The comic packs (at samco) are the ones with general flagg the cobra officer, and the one with grunt in the maroon uniform. Let me know about Miko's stock, I'm thinking of going up there.

Looks like Pete might have some antibuilders for me next meet. ;-)

I went yesterday to Miko. What a mad house! Anyhow, same comic packs as Raptor saw, Officer pack and the Grunt pack (4 and 5 I think). No Ice Sabres or Quick Strikes that I saw.  Wave 3 of VvV (Hockey Zartan wave), Hiss 4 ($10.00, I never bought one to open before so why not), Sky Sweeper without figure ($10), Thunderwing ($20.00), Venom Cycle with green viper, Grizzly tank ($30.00 but I still bought it, not that great) plus the 1st wave of BTR smaller vehicles and a bunch of 12' figures that I really didn't look at.

I was very short on time and that place has some huge lines that move super slow. That place would be cool to waste a few hours in but it's so busy I'm in no rush to go back. I was looking forward to the Ice Sabre and Quick Strike for $10.00 each, but I still managed to waste $142.00 on my credit card.

Don't worry Raptor, I got a bunch of Gen. Flaggs and Steelers for ya.  Jon, if you need a Steeler LMK.  I "looted" 10 comic #5 packs and three Snow Wolf/Cobra Bat packs.  Only comics # 4 and 5 were there.  

As for the two packs (skimmed over them real quick), they only had figures from VvV waves 1 and 3.

That's exactly what was at Samco. There was exactly 0 star wars, and some overpriced transformers. It was an absolute madhouse when I was there, but I did go on the first day.

the QS/IS boxes were in the clearence center, and the woman said that they didn't have many, so weren't putting them out with the rest of the army toys. Wish I knew you wanted them, as I just opened my QS and traded the IS.

The BTR was all the small sets including the "rare" :roll: Sand thingie with Firefly. The prices were $3.50 for firefly, $2 for the rest.

There are some good deals there, but not as good as last year. It was fun, but I did end up overbuying.  :?

Now I've got to figure out what to do with all those general flagg bodies. ;-)

I wonder if Miko had the IS and QS then and I missed it. It's a shame I didn't have the time to look around. I forgot to say that I looted 5 of the Officer packs and 5 of the Bat/Snow Serpent pack, plus one Grunt pack because someone gave me the idea of putting Grunt's head on a classic style body (couch *raptor* couch).

looks way better like that, but I used an extra Zap to give him original arms and waist. The only thing that you have to watch is that the arms aren't all compatable, and that you can only take them apart about twice before the soft plastic strips in the screw holes.

I really like the look of grunt's head on that body, even if it does seem a little thin for his torso.

And why Couch? Not Cough?
