Found a single case of these at both the Cambridge Wal~Mart and Fairview Mall Wal~Mart this morning.
They didn't come up on the scanner so I'm not sure of the price. They were in standard US/English packaging.

when did Cambridge become the hub of new G.I. Joe Product?! /envy

As far as I have been led to understand, if one Wally's gets a truck with new product on it, that same assortment will be touring the area in no time. Here in London we have a weird balance though, one of the Wal-mart's gets three or four times as much Joe product as the other two. Regardless, I'd say a good 75% of my 25th figures have been found at Wal-mart and I will be counting on them to help me out until the movie line hits.
These Heroes are pretty cute but I'm not sure I can convince my wife to let me start on another line of toys :D

About time these are coming to more than just comic shops! I'll be buying them when I see them... I really like the little guys
-
No idea if I'll buy these. Probably not but I might change my mind when I see them and if the price is right.

Cambridge gets it first, then Guelph gets a skid full of it. ;-)
Central Ontario represent!

I find they come to Cornwall pretty fast. We've got the Walmart distribution warehouse in our backyard. I haven't been in to look yet... maybe if I find time on the weekend.
-
Yeah, they're in here... I just stopped by Crazy-town (aka Wal-mart at Christmas) and saw three sets of the collection on the pegs. They're pretty nice... I imagine I'll be getting them.
-
Anyone know how much they cost?
-
I really want to go down and have a look at them but its the day before Christmas. I don't know if I have it in me to go near Walmart.
-
I picked up FF/Bazooka, CC/Roadblock, and Zartan/SE - each $8.92
It also didn't scan at the price checker machine but a helpful associate rang it up for me.
I didn't find Duke/Trooper - and I didn't like these at first, but they have really grown on me. Still the price is a bit steep for what are essentially less detailed miniatures.
Now I hear wave 3 has been cancelled, so hopefully we still get wave 2 coming with that Destro, Baroness, and Storm Shadow.
-
I think what I like most about these is that they don't lend well to army building... so one of each and I'm done! $9 is a bit steep, but you get two figures that look pretty on a shelf. Maybe if these do well, they'll re-issue wave 3
-
I wonder why wave 3 got cancelled? Do you think they released them too soon? Maybe they should wait till closer to the movie comes out to gain interest. Or perhaps thats what they're doing anyway.
-
I found all 4 in Chatham, had no idea how much they were until I checked the receipt...kinda expensive for what they are, single carded figures are cheaper. :- But oh well.
-
Yeah, I finally saw a couple of sets the other day.
I'm not interested in Smurfet and Joseph Colton's illigetiment love children.
Pass!

Saw these the other day at walmart in vaughan (3 of 4 sets, no duke). I won't be collecting these anyways, but thought I might get SE. I was tempted, but at $8.92... pass. That's actually a $ more than the indy ones (I checked to see if they were on clearance like the rest of the indy stuff), which is odd to me since indy has a licence fee, joe doesn't, yet joe is more expensive. Wonder what the star wars ones are priced at. Either way, even if I was planning on collecting them, 9 bucks is pretty steep to me.

Cambridge Wal~Mart restocked with one case of these yesterday.
-
Thee are in the Oshawa and Whitby Wal-Marts. I passed on them.
-
I wish I wanted these because I've seen the whole run of them in stock at nearly every W-M in London. It seems like they've been ordering them in lieu of real Joes and they don't sell very well. Hopefully they won't make the mistake of thinking Combat Heroes represent overall interest in Joe product, if so we may be screwedl.
