Thanks man! The blizzard notwithstanding, we had a GREAT turnout and there were some goodies there. I picked up a Cdn carded CCV3 and Firefly V2 as well as a big batch of Cdn FCs. I saw some good Action Force stuff there as well.

Thanks! :)

Yeah, the Mexican Joes are neither cheap or plentiful. I've been collecting them for several years now and am just under half way to completing the set. Some exist in known quantities of less than 5 so finishing the set will probably take me a few more years yet.

Thank gawd it's plastic. I hate repros that you can't tell the difference on so it's nice to see someone make an effort to protect the original.

Nothing too exciting. James, who has a lot of stuff was there but he'll be at my show too. Someone did pick up a trailer for the MSV for $20 tho, which is a pretty good score.

Considering the amount of action the Alberta section of this forum gets, i'd say three dealers is pretty good. ;)

And all you easterners think us westerners are gun-toting rednecks! With the difference in popularity of Joe i'm gonna say those tables are turning!

I'd love to get out there one of these years Mike, no doubt! Bad timing on both our parts this year, i suppose.

This should be a good one tho! Brand new, HUGE venue and some pretty cool guests. I know at least 3 Joe dealers will be there too.

I'm pleased to announce that the Edmonton Collectible Toy and Comic Show is returning again on April 20th, 2008 and will be bigger and better than ever

This year we're moving into our exciting new venue, the Shaw Conference Center - Hall C - where we will have over 23,000 square feet of exhibit space which will be full of the finest collectible toys and comics vendors in Western Canada have to offer.

In addition to the quality collectibles attendees have come to expect from the show, we are also very excited about our Special Guests. This year Ernie Hudson, perhaps best known for his role as Winston Zeddmore in both Ghostbusters movies, and Bonnie Piesse who played the young Aunt Beru in both Star Wars Episode II and Episode III, will be joining us to interact with fans and sign autographs over the course of the day.

Our show sponsor and good friends at Happy Harbor Comics (www.happyharborcomics.com) will also be bringing some of the best local, home-grown comic talent to the show with the return of their ever popular Independent Artists Alley.

Please visit our website at www.edtoyshow.com for all of the information on additional guests and programming and be sure to check back often to keep up with our latest news. If you can, please take a moment to fill out our email survey to help provide you with the best possible show experience.

I hope to see you all at this year's show, and please feel free to tell any friends, family members, colleagues or acquaintances you think might be interested. We also request that you bring along a donation to the Edmonton Food Bank and in return, you'll be eligible to enter to win any one of our fabulous door prize packages.

When i first bought the cases i was living in a one bdrm apt and had to have the cases out in the living room. I didn't want everyone who could see in the windows or who was just coming over to see what was in the cases so i went with the frosted doors.

I'd much prefer to have clear ones but now that i'm moving again, to a smaller apt, the frosted doors might be handy once more! :)

These photos start with an overall tour of the room and then move into detailed shots of genres and shelves. It goes in the order of GI Joe, Misc (robots, TFs, 70s and 80s stuff) and then finishes off with my SW collection.

Hope you enjoy. Please feel free to ask any questions:
