The Return of the Zellers 50% Rise Of Cobra Toys Sale!

Thanks to Joecanuck members Sureshot and bandonov in the original thread here:

I was able to confirm that the Rise Of Cobra 50% off sale is back on a Zellers. The sale runs through to April 22nd from what the in-store sales tags mentioned.

If you missed the sale last time around, now's your chance!

Note that it would seem the same exceptions apply. Target exclusives (except for the Conquest/Tiger Rat) are not part of the sale.

Oh sweet, I've been wanting another RHINO but not at 80 bucks.  I'm going to stop on my way home and check it out.   :wink:

I forgot that was a Target exclusive, they've been sitting on the shelf for so long.

They didn't have any signs up about any of the items being on sale.   :-

Since they brought back this sale, they really want to get rid of there stock.  I hope this means that the new Joes are comming soon?!

I don't speak for Zellers (or Hasbro) on this, but typically when they have to do a 50% off sale to clear stock, they won't be quick to restock that item again.

Sales like this are good for the consumer, bad for the retailer and the product line.

I believe your are referring to Supply and Demand and I think you're right about it. Usually If the retail store believes there is no demand for the product, then restocking or size of orders are to be reconsidered.
