Title: Winnipeg Meet Up!

Scramble - pardon if this is in the wrong section.

Hey guys, long time listener, first time caller...  ;)

I will be flying in from Indy for a long weekend in Winnipeg the weekend of January 15th for business.  I have no idea where I am staying or even if I will have a car or what...but, time permitting, if any Joe collectors want to get together for some dinner or beers, PM me.  Always good to meet the fandom face to face!

Well, I still have that trip planned, albeit now in MAY, the 12th through 16th.  I'm staying in the Holiday Inn on Pembina Highway.  My schedule is pretty booked except for that Sunday.  PM me if interested and we can plan something.

Boo! sorry I won't be able to make a sunday meet-up, however do enjoy your time in the city. Be sure to check out Corydon Ave/Osborne Village for some good eats etc.

Interesting town.  Only hit the Walmart on the SW side of town.  Only 3 Wally's in all of Winnipeg?  I liked that TRU is next to Hooters and I definitely had my fill of Timbits until CJC.

I'm not sure how many Wally's there actually are. Off the top of my head I know of three , McPhilips, St. Vital and Regent, but I'm sure there's gotta be one around St.James or Unicity mall.....maybe. Anyways, hope you had fun and maybe if your ever back up here we might be able to meet up.
