Well, not just Gi joe. All kind of cool toys to be specific. That's right, there's a new Toy Con in the greater Montreal area, and this time, it's in Longueuil, Qc, on June 1st 2013, from 9am to 3pm.
Collectibles, Action figures, Toys, Comics and cards, oh my!
General admission is 7$. Free for kids under 7, and 3$ for ages 7-12.

Up until last year, there was another toy show at Place Desaulniers a couple of times a year. From what I heard, the organizer stopped doing it. It seems like someone new is organizing this one. I might stop in and take a look (It will depend on if I have any available funds by then :) )

I'll be there around 9am. I'm not looking for anything in particular, I feel like browsing. Maybe I can find some customs fodder.

OB, If you're interested for custom fodder, I have many good candidates :) . I'll be bringing all of what's left in my modern era carded and loose stuff. Come and see me, I'm sure we can work something out. That beeing said, I'm confirming as of now that I'll be helping someone who will be setting up over there, so I'll have a table. Some of you probably met him before, he's Steve of Toy Wars. FYI, there will be AT LEAST 3 Gi joe stops at the show, two of which will carry both vintage and modern era items for sure. This is only based on the exhibitors that I know who are going for sure, and what they collect. If there are other Gi joe vendors, I don't know them but I will ask the organizer and try to give you an update.

Try to come man, really. You're already in South Shore, even if not super close. Please tell your Buddy too (the cool guy, I'm sorry I forgot his name :-[ , I shouldn't). This is a new show in Longueuil that would cool for you guys to add to your annual events repertory aside from the ones in Drumondville and Ste-Hyacinthe, so Snake Plisken's positive moral support would come in handy ;). And come costumed too if you can :D

BTW Drummondville and St-Hyacinthe are the same event. it's no longer in St-Hyacinthe ;-)

Thanks guys for checking out the showHopefully it will continue to be on the South Shore.
I actually had a great time. My highlights were the ones who came by to see me and even took a little of their time to chat and catch on current events (OB1 Kreobuild, SnakePliskenOnaGlider, 5u5h1, Martin-Longueuil, JoeGeek, Prince, etc ;D ) If I forgot anyone, I apologize!
I also told the organizer to join the board and say Hi since he collects GI joe.
And an Encore big thanks to SnakePliskenOnaGlider for inviting your two friends from the 501st to come along with you. I spoke to the Commander and she was very delighted to be there! I'll remind the organizer on her behalf to make sure to send an official invitation to their entire Division for the next time.
