Not my collecting niche but new GI JOE legend busts were shown at San Diego

Overall:  Something looks goofy about them.

There's definitely something up with those figs.

They kinda look possessed.

It doesn't help that they start with Gung Ho and Shipwreck, who have the worst head sculpts of them all. Duke looks really good, and I like that Beachhead enough to buy it.

But busts with stumps for arms bug me. Waist up, fine, but the bust just ending where it probably would look better continuing, that hurts the look for me.

That's what a bust is! As soon as you get the arms in there, it's not really a bust anymore, but actually half a statue.

Fugly. They redefine fugly.

Excuse me while I channel GI Trekker here, but why would anyone ever want to have that in their house?

Then I guess I like half statues better than busts.

I really like the first series of Joe Busts that came, never bought them as I didn't really have anywhere to display them, but these, the more I look at them, the more I really dislike them, at first I jus thought they were awkward looking, now I really truly detest them.
Snake-Eyes and Beachhead don't look as bad as the others, but there is no way I would even consider buying any of them.
