New Trailer from the MTV Movie Awards
« on: June 02, 2009, 09:52:13 AM »

If you didnt catch it, here's a link...it's almost like they WANT to piss off the fans, but i'm sure the non-fans will love it for being a generic action movie/popcorn flick...

they lost me when Baroness says "nice shoes".

They lost me at Hello.

On a side note, I found this link on you tube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs4RYwl7fa0&NR=1

When the guy playing Cobra Commander says "It's not a film you are suppose to think about. You watch it and then get on with your afternoon" then you know the film is in trouble.

My fears is that the film will tank and Hasbro will put a lid on G.I. Joe for about 3 years or so. Then again, that might not be so bad. My wallet will have time to breath and if Joe makes a come back for the 30th anniversary with something like a new cartoon then my son would be old enough to enjoy it. That is just my guess.

It looks like they have given up already....

I didn't really like the tone of a lot of the answers to the last set of questions either - too many "The movie toy-line needs to be a success or ......".  They have a responsibility in this too!

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

Um, why, exactly? They're basically the contemporary equivelent of the SNAKE and Cobra Commander's battle armour.
