If the Canuck-Verse was a movie?
« on: April 28, 2011, 10:11:11 PM »

Since my recent comment saying that I always pictured Michael Ironside to be the "voice" of Black Ice, I started thinking about who would be the rest of the "JoeCanuck-verse" of characters.

This, is what I came up with, while sitting in traffic. (Google image them)

Black Ice - Michael Ironside (Voice Only)
Chacal Noir - Wade Williams (Shaved head)
Hazard - Connor Trinneer
Timbit - Jason Mewes
Shiver (as a good guy) - Jensen Ackles
Snowbank - Nathan Fillion
Back-Stop - Ryan Kwanten (Hair dyed black)
Joe Canuck - Scott Bakula

From this year's set:
Mudslinger - Kevin Conroy (Voice Only)
Valkyrie - Sara Rue (w/ Brown hair)
Night Ops Guy - Bruce Campbell (Voice Only)
"Kermit" (as you guys call him) - Jack Coleman (Black hair, w/goatee)

Haven't thought about the Canuckleheads yet....

Black Ice - Edward Norton http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001570/
Chacal Noir - Woody Harrelson http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000437/
Hazard -  Viggo Mortensen http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0391326/
Timbit - Jesse Eisenberg http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0251986/
Shiver - Alexander Skarsgård http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002907/
Snowbank - James Marsden http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005188/
Back-Stop - Kevin McKidd http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0571727/
Joe Canuck - Joe Flanigan http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0281167/

Good picks by all...except I'm not too sure about Scott Bakula as Joe Canuck.  Joe's a hard one to pick for.  Michael Ironside's turn as Darkseid in the DC Animated Universe has made him an eternal bad-guy fave, & Kevin Conroy is of course eternally the man.  For Chacal Noir I'd make him older & more cerebral & put him in a power struggle with Black Ice...so what better bald actor than Patrick Stewart?

Of course if this ever DID happen Hollywood would &!*% the backstory, plot, & characters all up.

Also, I hope Mike would get a better cameo than Larry Hama did.

I don't remember seeing Larry Hama in RoC, where was his Cameo?
