General Joe Talk / Roadtrip?
« on: February 26, 2004, 08:34:53 PM »
One of those BAT APC things would be fantastic.  I'm also looking for a couple of JvC two packs, which you may come across, the Widescope/BAT pack and the NF Crosshairs/Nunchuck pack.  If you guys would be willing to help me out with any of those, I'd be very happy.  I'd probably even pay you back, or try to find you some of that Wave 4 stuff that is still somewhat available around here, if wanted or needed.  Please let me know.  :)

General Joe Talk / Roadtrip?

I read that some of you Ontario residents are planning a roadtrip south for Joes?  Is this true?  And if so, how does someone politely ask for something to be picked up for them?

Well, it's not really a new sighting by any means but i thought Alberta collectors might like to know about my show:
Edmonton Collectible Toy and Comic Show
Sunday, March 14th
11-4pm
Grand Ballroom - Mayfield Inn
Admission:
$5 Collector Hour (11-noon)
$3 General Admission (noon-4)
Kids under 12 FREE!

If you get a chance to make it by, be sure to track me down and say hi.

Shane

Hmmm, very, very interesting!  Do we have to pay $5 to get in for the collector hour and then another $3 for the rest of the day?  Any good prospects for finding some Joe stuff?

I also got lazy with money orders, but then Paypal was killing my credit card, and then they figured how to rig Canadian bank accounts to pay.  Now things are much better.  :)

What do you mean they "figured how to rig Canadian bank accounts to pay." ?   Can you link your bank account to paypal like what you did with your credit card to pay people and stores online?

Yes.  It's very handy.  And keeps the Visa bounty hunters away....  :shifty:

General Joe Talk / What do you think of the new Cobra Six pack?
« on: February 21, 2004, 12:33:08 PM »
I've got 2 of these packs, and I think the figures rock!  No question.  Sure, the heads may be a bit pointier than necessary, but I can easily overlook that.  I think they are great figs!
