Title: 1:18 scale Chinook project
Post by: Muskrat88 on July 01, 2006, 10:46:56 PM
Hi all,
I am thinking about starting a 1:18 scale (3 3/4) Chinook helicopter project. It will be in the same scale as Joes and I will make the cargo area big enough to hold 1 or 2 A.W.E. Strikers, or seats for 35 figures. I will probably make it out of plasticard, cardboard, and parts from different GI Joe sets. Here is a PDF file that I put together (with specs and reference photos):

What do you guys think?

Thanks!
I will be away for three weeks starting on Sunday, July 9th, but I will be back by Friday, July 28th. I will not start construction until I get back. When I start, I will post some progress pics.

Well, there was a time when the Canadian Air Force used Chinooks, but then our government sold them
