Title: Speaking of Captain America...
Post by: morgardee on January 20, 2011, 03:55:18 PM
Pictures from the new movie are starting to pop up. The WW2 stuff looks like I would expect but the modern day Captain America looks a little goofy to me. I guess Hollywood has a hard time bringing this costume to the big screen.

They have already confirmed that the movie takes place in the 40s, except for a bit of the beginning and ending so the costume shots are most likely taking place in the 40s and that is where the costume originates from.

The pics are doing nothing for me.  I hope the movie is much better!

Those Hydra soldiers are awesome.
If they don't sport the lame "Marvel movie figures" upper leg articulation I might get a few.

Toyfare showed some of the Cap's figure from the upcoming movie line and the Caps had the Universe upper leg articulations so I' still have some hopes that the figures shown weren't prototypes.
