i think the Rebel logos should be on the main wings, not the tail-planes.

Very cool. Ever thought of swapping the head out for a Star Wars Luke head?

That's all awesome. I am all for the sticker and color apps you are proposing. However I do have to ask: where will R2D2 fit in this custom: any plans to have him seated behind Capt. Luke in the cockpit?

he could always lash him to the wing...

As far as R2D2 I think he's trying to keep this as realistic as possible. R2D2 wouldn't fit so well. I think a better option would be to name the black box R2D2 with a sticker or make a small computer in the cockpit named R2D2. Putting a droid in the plane would cross the line from realistic to fantasy IMHO.

Painting web gear white is going to be difficult. I like the photoshop mock up, I'm just wondering what paint you are going to use to avoid paint chips.

That is down right awesome. I've never tried anything like that before. I have some questions if you don't mind me asking.

1) How did you weather it?

2) How did you separate the landing gear from the wings?

3) How did you do the LEDS in the tail engine and where did you buy them from. here is the on / off switch and where to the batteries go?

BTW, Timbit given for that awesome work.

For the paint job, I primed the plane, then a coat of grey/beige and wet brushing and wiping

For the landing gear mod and the LED in the engine check this thread http://serpentorslair.info/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2711 from Vidmous on Serpentor's Lair. I did the same mods and found the same lights at my local dollar store.

and thanks
