Canada 3, USA 2 (OT)
« on: February 28, 2010, 06:01:27 PM »

Wow.  What one HELL of a hockey game.  I don't know about the sun shining on a dog's ass... ;D I would just call that one absolute hell of a game.  My hat's off and a raised beer to the Canadians for winning the gold, and I also tip my hat and raise my beer in a salute to my Team USA, for taking the best hockey team in the world to OT.  Congrats to my (probably very happy) Canadian friends, and I hope the ribbing doesn't go too far  ;D

A great game by both sides to be sure.  The Canucks played fast - the way they should.

Very classy and very nice of my Canadian friends for acknowledging Ryan Miller's game.  Much appreciated.  :)

You couldn't have scripted this heart attack of a game any better.   This was a epic game.  It will go down in Canadian hockey history.  It will go down in Canadian Olympic history.

I am still on cloud 9.

^^ This

WHAT a game.

Ryan Miller is an incredible goalie, and I am happy the audience showed him that they agreed.

Wow. We're going to see replays of that Crosby OT goal for years to come

Awesome game! Both goalies were standing on their heads, both teams played great hockey. Being a maritimer it was sooo great to see Sid the Kid score the winning goal though! I'm still vibrating.

I was watching it at a pizza place.  When the US went down 2 to 0  to Canada's suffocating defense, we left. Good thing we listened to it in the car or else we would have missed one hell of a game. so good we watched the DVR when we got back home.

While Mario Lemieux's goal was huge against the Soviets in '87, Crosby's goal has become new Paul Henderson goal of our generation.  It will be replayed for generations to come.
