I'm not able to see the current accumulated votes anymore--would that be because I'm a contest participant, or is it a matter of clearing my cache or something??

It's a matter of us changing it. ;-)

It's a VOTING process...

I don't know why there's even an option to see voting as it happens as it can sometimes skew the results.

Just vote, and wait for the results just like an election.... except with better results.  :shifty:

Yea, not knowing what the standings are until announced makes it fair across the board while voting is underway.
And it ups the anticipation too!

It will also hopefully remove the temptation for anyone to stump for votes if they are that concerned about winning.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Personally I know I (and at least one other entry) participated not to win but for the fun of taking part. If my entry wins so be it, and I'll be proud of the fact , but this is about helping the community and hopefully adding to the growing JoeCanuck story, especially for those unable to attend the convention.

Hell even if I my entry receives the lowest of the vote count, I tried. And if I was to win but the comic guys choose to use my entry for turning into cannon fodder at some point... At least they be inspired to do something with it.  ;D 

And hopefully this contest can become a yearly way to let us all take part.

yup its all in good fun I personally never expected to win as I consider myself a very amateur customizer but I love doing it, and just because it doesn't win doesn't mean you cant put it in your own joecanuck verse  :wink:
