What, if anything, are you expecting from the Con this week?

So the official Con is this week.  I was wondering if you guys were expecting anything from this week?  Nothing?  Surprises, etc.?

Personally I think we will get not much in the way of answers regarding Renegades from the panel.  We might see 1-2 "new" items we have not seen at Toyfair and possibly better product examples of the Skystriker and SDCC Starscream.  Zero, or less than zero info about the movie.

My hope is that there will be some interesting exclusive vehicles this year.  Last year was a pretty big disappointment with really only the Mirage repaint interesting me.  I think we will see a small Joe vehicle and a midsize Python vehicle, along with another 3 pack (which seems to MC's favourite go to show exclusive).

Maybe IDW will have something interesting, but I am not holding my breath.

I hope they do not do the same thing to Renegades as they did to Resolute.  I love the 7 packs but Single carded figs are FAR SUPERIOR!

GI Joe is going on hiatus. Hasbro is throwing all their ressources behind the upcoming My Little Pony Transformers crossover line.

I'm expecting a headache. Why? Because of those freaking Dial Tone figures.

Are you going to wish you got one of those "Golden Tickets"?  It allows collectors to buy 3 times the limit!

You and me both.

And no, I will never support the whole "Golden ticket' nonsense. That's not a fair way to treat your paying members. The only "gold" being exchanged in that particular scenario is the extra income being received by Fun Publications for a non service that basically offers nothing more then a chance for people to bud in line and become greedy. I don't subscribe to that line of thinking and will never support it.

At the risk of boarder line politics, it's like asking me if I want to pay a bit more in taxes OR pay through the nose when I need a doctor. I'll pay more taxes and give everyone a fair playing field, thank you very much.  'nuff said.

It would be nice to see some 30th anniversary stuff, but it might be a bit too early for that. I'm really not expecting much of anything.
