NEED PICS of 1984 Canadian Vamp MkII please!!
« on: April 04, 2011, 09:13:03 PM »

Hey everyone! just got a Canadian Vamp MkII off eBay the other week, It's definitely different parts-wise than the American release I have, but I have no means of verifying the parts or if the decals are placed properly for when I restore it. Help a brother out and post some pics? Would be much appreciated.... THX!

Hello and welcome here!

Is there really a Canadian difference or the difference you see come from the mail away version:

When you say that you got a "Canadian Vamp MkII", do you simply mean that you got it from a Canadian seller?

If you have a different version of the regular Vamp mark II than the one that was available in American stores from my understanding, then you possibly have  the hard-to-find mail-away version. Unfortunately, I only recently started to look for one so I can't help you, but I believe there's quite a few members on this site that already have one and can possibly help you with the placement of the stickers  :cobra:

The other kids are right, CardboardJedi. The only difference between the Canadian and domestic US releases would be the flag and United States/Canada stickers. The rest should be the same, right down to the placement of said stickers (flags on rear fenders, country on the hood). You just have to figure out which version ya got, original or mail away.
