GIJCC 2012 registration is now live.

Looks like they finally got it going. Only attending package being sold today:

They also have some info on this years guests. The first one they have is Neil Ross. He was the voice actor of Dusty, Buzzer, Monkey wrench, Wong ans Shipwreck. I'd love to get his autograph on my box set. There is a Shipwreck disc in that set. So far I have Zartan and Baroness autographed.  :)

In the brochure it says that Will Ryan is a guest too.  He voiced Footloose and Mutt.

That makes sense. They will have Footloose MOC, just like last year when they had Dial Tone.

I wonder if that means who ever they make for the 2013 membership figure will be there in 2013.

I doubt the club would make a Road Block / The Rock figure. Sure, he would be a great replacement for Slaughter as the Joe drill instructor but with a boat load of Rock Block figures about to hit the shelves I don't think the demand would be high.

I'll admit I was hoping the club was going to have at least one actor from the movie at the convention, but I guess that's not going to happen. They would have mentioned it by now.

Yes, more time to plan it into the Convention.  However I think the Rock is at the pinnacle of his career and would command a hefty fee.

Honestly I was sort of hoping they would have had the Rock this year as it's in New Orleans where the movie was filmed. Highly doubt they would have held that piece of info back. Saying The Rock was going would have won over more people who might have been sitting on the fence.

Still, mighty cool that they have Neil Ross and Will Ryan. They had 2 voice actors last year as well. Maybe getting 2 voice actors is their new tradition.

I did ask on facebook if they would try to keep the club exclusive / voice actor trend going and they said something like they would like to try but it's not always possible for those things to happen.

Just signed up.  Apparently, someone tried to purchase a bagged set and they were sold out already.  That went quick.  I just wanted 1 boxed set, so I'm happy, but I would not wait people.....this looks like it will be in high demand.

Can't do it. $400 before shipping and taxes. I love the oktober guard, but not that much. :( I suppose I could sell the iron grenadiers to get some of that back, but I can't just drop $500 right now.
