That is a lot of favourite... hihihihihi

I will pick my all time '82-'94 favourite for Joe and Cobra:

Joe: 1988 Night force Outback
(other favourite are: Stalker, Falcon and Shockwave)

Cobra: While I love Storm Shadow backpack with all accessories fitting inside, I will pick the 1986 BATS
(other favourite are: '83 Cobra trooper, '85 EELS, '85 Snow Serpent, Baroness)

Well, If I do abstraction of what are the best action figures out there, and simply count those that still have a hot spot in my heart since I started my collecting journey, I'd say they are:

1982-83: Cobra Commander v.1 (Swivel arm)
1983: Destro
1984: Duke
1985: Shipwreck, Lady Jaye, Snake Eyes & Snow Serpent, and pretty much the rest in this line that are second favorites
1986: Sci-Fi, BATS & Vipers
1987: Law & Order , Jinx & Techno Viper
1988: LightFoot, Blizzard & most Tiger Force figures (except for Recondo who I always found looked too weird because his lower body colors radiated of TF, the top not really, and nowadays I find that this figure looks more like a half TF/ half NF)
1989: Rock & Roll, Snake Eyes, Stalker & Captain Grid Iron
1990: Updraft, Decimator, Major Storm, Cold Front (this year was my favorite for vehicle drivers)
1991: General Hawk
1992: Roadblock
1993: Snowstorm & Cyber Vipers
1994: Carcass, Predacon, Lobotomaxx & the Action Pilot Astronaut

I can say that a lot of my favorite figures came more from 1985 and 1988.

After recently rekindling my love of Joes (after a couple years absence), I was thinking similarly along these lines, which ones do I love the most, both from nostalgia and genuinely great figures. I guess this is a perfect excuse to finally start posting on here.  ;D

My Personal Favorites:
1982: Short Fuze, Cobra Commander (swivel arms versions)
1983: Major Bludd, Airborne, Doc
1984: Firefly, Mutt, Recondo
1985: Footloose, Tomax & Xamot, Crimson Guard
1986: Leatherneck, Beach Head, Zandar, Iceberg, Viper, Serpentor
1987: Croc Master, Battle Armor Cobra Commander, Falcon, Chuckles
1988: Destro v2, Muskrat, Star Viper, Repeater, Storm Shadow v2, Night Force Tunnel Rat
1989: T.A.R.G.A.T., Rock 'n Roll, Downtown, Night Viper, Recoil, Deep Six v2
1990: Undertow, Freefall, Bullhorn, Overlord, Ambush
1991: Dusty v2, LowLight v2, CG Immortal, Mercer, Cloudburst, B.A.T. v2
