Damn it! I was excited until I saw those awful cards. The card art is what makes these anniversary figures as that is more of a throw back than the updated figure. Seeing as I am buying to keep them in the package I will pass on these and try and track them down from the States. When you think about it, you wouldn't have to pay much more to get an American carded figure (shipping included) than buying these from Wal-Mart plus taxes.

Hopefully Hasbro sees this thread and fixes this.

Just so we're clear - we're "ok" wth the back of the card - it's the front that is pathetic right? ;-)

Personally, I'm ok with the back.  It looks a little odd with only the 5 "preview" pictures, but hopefully that will fill out over time and give it more of a classic look.

Holy Cow! I just realized the back has no file card! These are junk. They might as well be dollar-store knock offs. Did anyone ever think that Hasbro would have gone from having vehicles that had dedicated Canadian flag stickers to this?

That's sort of funny. I wonder how many guys in the USA are going to want our crappy pictureless version. Good news is it's a great template for custom cards.  :shifty:

I see a seller from Asia is selling these generic carded figures on E-bay as a "prototype".  I think a few were already bidded at over $20 each.

There's been a bunch of them popping up as prototypes.  Apparently some of them sold around the 100$ mark a month or two ago.

I saw those on ebay.  People who were bidding at that time didn't know what we know now (i.e. Canadian Crappy Carded).

When I saw the white stickers with names on them on those cards I guessed they may be Canadian. The sticker style was identical to the name stickers on the Canadian Venom Vs Valor packaging.

Well  I hit  the Wallys in Woodstock   and  cleaned them out.  They only had 8  units in stock to begin with.. so that is one case.

I only did find Flash, Snow Job, Shipwreck, Crimson Guard.. still looking for the Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander and Destro.

Also went to two in London  tonight, struck out at the White Oaks   Wal*Mart   but  did  find a Shipwreck at  the one out  by the Sam's Club.

Needless to  say, I am opening the  CG  only.  I'm going to keep the rest on card, tucked away.
