One of the wonder twins pointed out these guys as a source for 1:18 transformers in canada. Anyone ever dealt with them before?

I've never dealt with them, but I've heard of them via the Star Wars boards.

Teh mere fact that I"ve heard of them for about 3 years  and never heard anything bad is a plus in my books.

Try them out and let us know. ;-)

They have a Marvel Select Thanos that I am interested in at a decent price - the only other place I have seen him in Canada wanted $50.

I am tempted - nice to see that they have a physical location listed on their site as opposed to just a phatom PO Box.

I ordered 3 of the road bots and one of the knockoff Jetfires.

Total with shipping? $70.

Total for shipping? $7 fixed.

Let's hope that they are the real deal. Nice to have a domestic source with fixed shipping for the 1:18 transformers. I could get hooked on those, but I'm not sure where the hell I'm going to put them...

Sounds like I will be in Vancouver again this winter for work.  Hence, I will visit their store in Burnaby when I get the chance.

Worst of all though, I know that the roadbots come into Canada and are stored and shipped out of a company in Mississauga.

So these guys are likely ending up Shipped from China or Taiwan, entering Canada the docks in BC, being shipped to Ontario, shipped back to BC, then shipped back to me in Ontario.

Looks like these cars are coming to me with a lot of Kms on them. ;-)

Just talked with Spencer from A3U today. He's a good guy and a fan. In fact, he's looking for an MRF Racing Jeep Vamp, if anyone has a spare - you can email him at spencer@agesthreeandup.com

He's familiar with BHT, and the only one that he seems to be a bit peeved at is BBTS, which I am also peeved at because of their pricing and treatment of Canadians.

I like dealing with stores that have a storefront, and they do have one. I am going to reserve judgement until I have the box in my hands, but I am pretty impressed with the guy.

He also mentioned that they have about 2/3 more stuff available through the store than on the website, so if you're looking for foreign or HTF transformers or Asian stuff, you might want to drop them an email or give them a call.

I did. The roadbots were cool, but not even close to joe sized. Dealing with 3+ was good, they were reasonable on shipping and quick.

As for the roadbots, I think that I'm too old for Transformers anymore. The transformations were more complicated than Alternators, and had a lot of little parts that you had to fit in in just the right way.

After 2 transformation forward and back, I can't get the hummer to look and feel like it's back together again.  :-
