TRU Kitchener had a half dozen or so of these out this morning. Price is $139.99.
They also had the whole shelf full of Accelerator Suit Dukes @ $119.99. At that price I'd be very surprised if they sold even one of those things.

If only the 30% off sale applied to the Pitt. It's a playset I've really come to appreciate based on reviews.
-
Let us know if you get The Pit. I have nowhere to keep it so I am not getting one, but I find it a pretty interesting Joe item. Sorta like a MCC crossed its DNA with the Rolling Thunder.

I can see this one getting marked down a bit in the near future. I still have no room for one so it won't do me much good. Glad to hear the reviews are positive, I haven't read any yet.
-
It's ugly as sin in "vehicle mode" and some of the parts are a bit flimsy, but overall I would say it has more play value than I initially gave it credit for.
My Hawk figure came with two left hands though, which really sucks!!
-
That's kinda lame about Hawk. Hasbro may be willing to sort that out for you...or you could talk yourself into it being a super-rare variant. :)

Aint that the truth. I wonder what it would look like without wheels. So it's just a stationary PIT (who woulda' "thunk "huh?!)
Not like I have the space for it either, but what turns me off slightly is the cardboard pieces. Yes I've read quite a few reviews that mention the cardboard pieces are very few, but really if you're paying $100-$150 for this thing, couldn't Hasbro at least make plastic box crates/rocks and a plastic rectangle with four stands for a ping pong table? I mean when they went over budget in the research and design did it really have to come down to the ping pong table and some crates/rocks to cut?
-
It's $100 at Target. Waiting for a sale. I did by the Raven for $40 though.

very nice, now that i see one out of the box i might grab one.
thanks for the pics s.s.

Wal~Mart in Fairview Mall Kitchener has 3 PITs on top of their aisle display.
Price: $138.92.
-
It's too big for my house and too expensive. I could see kids really digging this. Does it come with Hawk? If so for $100 they could at least get his hands right. That's kinda funny.
-
I wonder if that's Tim Hortons coffee in his mug?

The Hawk figure comes with it. Hopefully the problem with the hands is just a one of thing that I was "lucky" enough to get. Thankfully the hands are easily swapped so I should be able to just amputate one of my extra figures.
-
Im thinking of getting this for my neice and nephew, think it will still be around come x-mas time?
-
I think this will end up on clearance at Winners like the big Millenium Falcon did, just gonna have to wait a while. They could barely sell THAT and it was/is truly an amazing and iconic toy. Most Star Wars collectors bought it, unlike this which has most of us devoted Joe fans saying "meh".
That said, if it's at Winners for a good price, I'll find the room for it.
-
Yeah, I just don't have room for it.
If it's marked down to $70.00 then I would think about it. $50.00 and I would buy it. In a year my son could play with it.
-
Milton walmart had 2 pits, but i picked one up. They also has 4 pegs of figures, a shelf full of the 3 packs, 2 of the latest 5 packs, 1 greatest battles dvd packs, the s.e. dress up set, and a little 4 side display of figs, vehicls, and flashlights, all set up nowhere near the action figure isle.
-
yeah, I agree, at fifty bucks, I'd pick one up, but for 140 or even 100, its not a well thought out toy. Rocks on the inside, cardboard accessories.
There are some good points, the internal bay/storage area looks neat, the weapon storage looks good, I even think its passable in vehicle mode, but it just doesn't look like it would be much fun to play with.
-
Still lots of these at Kitchener TRU, and a few at Fairview Mall Wal~Mart. Looks like only a a few have sold in this area, what are you guys seeing? Are they selling?
-
Since the packaging is only in english, it'll never see the light of day in la belle province.
I haven't seen it in person yet, so it's hard to say. From the pics I've seen though, it does seem underwhelming. Plus, I don't want another large vehicle to take up space, especially if it's not that great. However, I have my MCC, which I think works better.

TRU.ca is selling this for $99.99 right now. I'm not sure if this applies in store as well or if it's some sort of pricing error.

Nice discount.
Still too much money

I was at TRU Kitchener earlier today and they had the price @ $99.99 in store as well. There wasn't a sale sticker or anything so I'm assuming this is the new price.
-
I'll pick it up if it ends up like the Star Wars AT-TE last year at Walmart. ($19.94)
Otherwise it isn't worth it to me for an item I don't really care for all that much.

That's my plan as well.
