Title: Hello, new to the forum!

Hello, I'm new to the forum, but have been "lurking" for quite a while.  My name comes from the line in the 1983 Joe cartoon, 1st episode, where the Baroness (in diguise as Maj. Juanita Hooper) asks General Flagg whether he's filed his request for G.I. Joe using Form BX 257, Requisition Order MZ 19, in triplicate.  Most viewers remember this scene for Duke's facial expression immediately afterward, though.

I only collect from 1982 to 1985, it keeps my collection small, manageable and these are the years I actually played with them as a kid, so it's a nostalgia thing too.

I pretty much finished my collection a few years ago and moved on to other hobbies, but my interest in G.I. Joe was sparked again by the movie.  Currently I am doing a series of video reviews on Youtube.

Yes, I was a pretty hardcore collector starting from about 1993 to 2003 (when the bulk of what I set out to collect was in my possesion).  After that, I moved on to other hobbies and had the bulk of my boxed collection in my closet or basement.  The ROC movie (which I thought was just OK) put G.I. Joe back in the front of my mind.
I had always meant to do a quick video of my collection (for insurance purposes) and noticed that many collectors were doing in-depth reviews on Youtube of the ROC stuff.  This gave me the drive to pull out some of the vintage stuff I hadn't touched in years.
Thanks to Cobra Freak (met him through Youtube), I was directed here (I've seen this before due to the convention exclusives popping up on Ebay) and I hope to contribute.

I get ya.  I'm thrilled that joe got a movie but I really like the 25th figures a thousand times more than the movie line.  I am thankful that they included some 25th types items like the night force tunnel rat, night force shockwave, crimson mms, outpost defender, surveillance port, LAW, the cobra jet pack, rampage, and thunder.  What other hobbies did you move on to?
