For Those About To Rock...
« on: July 09, 2004, 11:45:04 PM »

In the spirit of Jon S, and due to the fact that i have never been above pimpin' myself, consider this an invitiation to come and check out my band this weekend.

We're called Y's Guys, and we consist of guys that work at Hamilton's best rock station, Y108.

We're playing this Sunday at Aquafest at Bayfront Park in Hamilton, and should be storming the stage at about 5PM...opening for April Wine.

It's a good mix of everything from AC/DC, The Hip, KISS, U2, to The Kinks, The Who, The Stones and tons of stuff in between.

If you're so inclined, please feel free to swing by and make sure to introduce yourself to me after the show (I'm the drummer) and perhaps we can discuss the joys of colecting over a wobbly pop or two.

C-ya!

Opening for April Wine?
That's just cool.

You know...... April Wine was the Northern Pikes 'inspiration band'. :-)

"I need nicotine for full effect"

Ok... that's enough. :-)

There's more to them than Teenland..... and She Ain't Pretty......

"Y" should play 'Good Life" more.
Do something about it Radio Guy!

I agree!  and i'll see what i can do about that.....but remember, I actually work across the hall at Country 95.3

And i know there's more to the boys from out west than that...

Personally, my favourite songs have always been "You Sold The Farm" and "Wait For Me".[/img]
