HASBRO Q&A - BACK TO SCHOOL EDITION!
« on: September 07, 2010, 03:30:16 PM »

It's that time again kids! Back to sch.... er, I mean Q&A With Hasbro!

Ask your questions in this thread and maybe yours will get answered!

Remember the rules:

·  Topics open for discussion – Deco Decisions, Design Choices, Design Process/Development and Redeco/Retooling. Also, questions pertaining to past and current Lore/Storyline, Line Strategy and Marketing.

· Topics that cannot be addressed - “When will X toy be made/redesigned/released?”, Hypothetical, Sales/Cost Data, Product Idea Submissions, Potential Design/Redesign and Future Movie/Entertainment.

Let's get some answers!

Is it true that Hasbro is including parts that pay homage to Predator and if pieced together will be a strong resemblance to one?

Why does POC Beach Head only come with one knife but have sheaths for two?

Yes!

Also what's your fascination with having Storm Shadow running around half naked since RoC?

Since the Prince of Persia Storm Shadow is becoming an unpopular peg warmer figure will you go back to a more traditional ninja Storm Shadow in the future?  Not including the Ninja Gaiden style figure coming out in 2011.

Nope, you are not alone--I like it too. I originally passed on the figure, but then saw a good review of it and then went back and bought it. Really great figure with loads of gear options--something that is a big plus with me.

Question for Hasbro:
Are some of the toys in POC ( namely some vehicles) designs that were brought forward from the aborted/abandoned Robot Rebellion sub-line?

The unmasked ROC Storm Shadow was a great looking figure.  Would the design team consider making Storm Shadow unmasked again?

What will happen to the unreleased (as of yet) Arctic Threat Duke (w/ Channing Tatum head) and Desert Ripcord (w/ Marlon Wayans head) figures?  Will these figures still be released with new head sculpts or are they cancelled?
