General Joe Talk / Re: GIJoe Original Series Relaunch

I quit reading way before even Ninja FOrce but I've since re-read everything I could find and look forward to the trades that IDW is slowly releasing from the Marvel line.  That said - I'm stoked by this revival of the original series!!   :loop:

Honestly, Hasbro would be better off using the money and energy budgeted to this medium for another Resolute style cartoon or something along the lines of the original Sunbow cartoon.

It's Friday.  Any new episodes?

If they are altering Duke and Destro to remove the movie likeness, could it be that Ripcord is in limbo while they decide if they will keep him african-american or return him to his original look?

I'm surprised the Ice-Viper Elite his disappeared.

Ripcord is still Black in the new webisodes so I doubt they'll change his ethnicity for the toyline.

TOY FAIR - not Fare. That lame-ass magazine should never be confused with the Toy FAIR. ;-)

I enjoy ToyFare.  Then again, I'm old school and like CDs and DVDs... and not downloads.

Watched it.  Thanks for the tweet that it was online.  Not super impressed yet but I'm game for anything new that's Joe.  Speaking of games... that's exactly what it looked like to me.  The voice actors were good!!

I just noticed that the Frostback trooper on the main JoeCanuck page is aiming Megatron.  I guess that instead of Cobra Commander, Megatron decided to ally himself with the Cobra who was driving the vehicle that was the most badass  ;D  If you were a 30 foot tall sentient despotic walking fusion cannon hellbent on universal domination, you'd probably be drawn to the shiny chrome too!

Nice!!!

Great stuff.  Too bad I missed the whole voting announcement!  Lol!

Looking forward to finally getting some cards!  :)

I agree with Inzane regarding Legos.  What I don't understand is the blatant contradiction of this proposed "violence" agenda by Lego.  Star Wars, Indiana Jones, their own Agents, Space Police, Batman, etc are all gun-carrying entities.  Guns and violence are prolific.  The only non-gun license I know of is Sponge Bob.
