Title: Clement Sauve has passed away.
Post by: ARROW on January 27, 2011, 11:59:05 AM
Just read this morning that Clement Sauve, the principle character designer for the G.I.Joe Renegades series succumbed to cancer last night, at the age of 33.

He was an exceptionally gifted artist, and I understand his illness was not common knowledge.

My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Too damn young to have such talented hands stilled forever.

I had just discovered his work a couple of months ago, and instantly became a fan.

Between his work on Renegades and comics, he has contributed a fair amount to the Joeverse.

Godspeed.

Man, that's terrible. I'm not a fan of the renegades designs, but he clearly had talent. Either way, that don't matter, it's way too young to go. Condolences to his family and friends. :(

It always saddens me to here news like this.  My thoughts are of his family.  I lost my dad to cancer when I was 17 and I had my own battle with it when I was 31 and this makes me appreciate how forunate I was to find it in time or I would have been about same age as Clement with the same results.    It's a terrible disease I don't wish upon anyone.
