I'm pretty sure (at least when I ordered from them in the 1997 warehouse find) I got random Joes and Cobra's for the Superhero and villain characters. They did throw in quite a bit of Spirit and Air Devil figures. Which in fact was NOT as cool as the dude who got a ton of Ninja Vipers, of which I got none.

I'm not sure what number I got, I didnt want to risk putting it in my luggage, so I have to get a friend in MI to ship it to me this week  :'(

Oh well, when I finally get it I'm going to put the stickers on the vehicles and clear some space in my main glass display case.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Got  home yesterday at 9:52 Pacific time (left at 2:00am from Detroit). I'm freakin exhausted, but had a BLAST. It was great to finally match up the faces to the names and catch up with people that I have known "online" for years. It took a total of 8000 miles (yikes) and over $1100.00 in travel expenses, but it was well worth it!!

The only thing I would want to see different for next year would be a multiple day convention. I left California at 5:00am on Friday, flew to Phoenix, then landed in Detroit at approximately 5:00pm. Watched the Red Wings game, then hopped in a car and drove 5 more hours up to Hamilton. Got there at about 3:00am, waited in line until 8:45 to pick up the set, and at that time I had been awake and travelling for over 25 hours straight, so I had to take an hour nap.

It was hard to stay awake and enjoy the show after all of the travel/waiting in line, but if there was a 2-3 day event I could have just slept it off the first day, and not meet everybody and have them think I am some kind of Zombie :)

I still thought that it was very well planned out, the exclusives are second to none (just watch my TV interview if it makes it through the editing stage), the staff was awesome to deal with (unlike another show I know of) and the attendees seemed to be having a TON of fun.

Hope to make it again sometime, but would hope it is more than 1 day so I can rest up when I first get there.

Either way, thanks for a great unforgettable weekend!!

And I'm still not getting the Stealth Viper Jr. joke (is that a Canadian thing or something :)

Thanks for a great weekend! I'm still not recovered yet after the long travel, and still have to fly back to San Diego tomorrow morning, but it was well worth it. I think that this was easily one of the best conventions Ive been to, even though it was only a one day event. Waiting in line for those 5 hours was freezing, but was made easier by the great Joe talk and meeting some of the members here in person.

Thanks again guys and glad to finally make it up there to be a part of it after all these years!!

Well, I have failed you all.........The lines were out of control and you had to wait in a line to get a ticket to maybe stand in line to get a sold out figure. For all of you who I was trying for, I was only able to get 3 of each and those were the first three spoken for (to friends at the show who couldnt even get them). Sorry for all the disappointment but I did try (Was there twice on Thursday and waited in lines for over 4 hours).

I hear that Raptor....

I guess Im known for spending a lot of cash on joes, but if I didnt work where I do I wouldnt be able to.

I wouldnt be so mad if it wasnt a one of a kind item, but in this case I cant "wait for the next one" type thing, because there is no next one.

If a Joecanuck figure ever hit ebay though........Id have to take the day off work so I dont forget it

A "famous" High End collector that has been in the game for years. His collection of figures rivals anybody elses (and then some). He has one of the most complete collection of figures in the world (including international).

Very cool Mike. I think it will go past the 300.00 mark by a few hundred at least (closer to the 750.00 mark or so). Great custom, great character and great card art/packaging. I may try for it but money is kinda tight with some other deals Im working on.

I have saved all emails in my inbox but havent replied yet. I kept them in order and will do my best to get what each of you asked for. If you didnt get a response from me yet dont worry, nobody has. I just want to keep them "unread" so I can locate them when the time comes.

Im going to go on Sunday so I could possibly buy more (it will be hell in there on Fri/Sat)

Drew

Im not sure on the limit of them but Ill get as many as I can (will have some friends come with me and get the limit too) so I could end up with as many as 20 of each depending on the cost. Just let me know and Ill start keeping a count on who wants them.
