I was never really a huge Transformers fan, but I loved the movie. Ironhide was awesome, and I love how they kept the transforming sound.

I'd probly only get them if they do end up being sold up here. As it stands now, I'm not really all that interested in them.

General Joe Talk / Re: Most realistic Joe?

Are we talking character, or figure? For character, I'm gunna have to say Beachhead, and not just because he's my favourite character. And for figure, I'd have to say Hit and Run. To me, that figure just screams realism.

Arena Attendant. I worked at the local arena, mostly cleaning up after hockey players.....Probly the reason why I hate hockey so much.

I think it's a decent character, but just an alright figure. He's just too lanky for my taste, just on the verge of being unrealistic in proportions. But this is just my opinion.

General Joe Talk / Re: What Is Your Most Favorite Cobra Figure
« on: March 22, 2007, 05:00:35 PM »
I'd say my favourite figure is either the v1 Iron Grenadier, or the WORMS. I really dig the uniforms on either one. Then again, growing up my favourite figure was the Flak viper, though I'm not sure why. I actually got him from a friend, and since he had no cobra logo, I thought he was Joe.  :P
As for favourite character, I'd have to say Destro. I always thought he was way cooler the CC and should have been the leader of cobra....though that could just be cuz I'm Scottish too. :P

Well, Seth Green does a pretty good impression of the cartoon Cobra Commander, if anyone has seen it on Robot Chicken

Sorry, I meant from a solely Joe point of view. The funny thing about the Woodstock show is that 90% of the time I walk away with such random and non toy related stuff. So far my favourite find is a grenade shaped alarm clock that plays revelly (spelling?).....though I could certainly do with a few less tractors at that place.

I wish I could have come across this thread a few days earlier, so I could have saved Radio Guy some time. The London and Woodstock shows are both pointless wastes of time. There used to be 2 vendors out this way with decent Joe merch, but one I haven't seen in a few months, and the other I have his number and just get my stuff straight from his house  ;D

I could go for Bobby Lashley, though I don't think he's tall enough

You have to know that Micheal Clarke Duncan would be playing Heavy Duty, or Roadblock pr whoever they use. I doubt Hollywood can think outside the box enough to do otherwise.

General Joe Talk / Re: Do any of you like to army build
« on: March 21, 2007, 06:11:14 PM »
I do, and I don't. I have really limited space right now, so I try to keep the building limited to vipers and blue shirts, because I think there should be more of them then the more specialized troops. So I usually keep any building to incompletes and cheap bins. Then again, I do like to build CLAWS and new mold Nightcreepers, just because I like those molds.
